Goodness gracious!
Look here. If the Purple Dragons are going to be riding across Cormyr's skies, it's going to be on wyverns, not fricking amethyst dragons (or any kind of true dragon).
Cormyreans don't like seeing dragons in the sky. Ever. Because it's always bad.
They didn't like it every time the Rage of Dragons took place.
They really didn't like it when the OG purple dragon himself, Thauglor the Black Doom, went mad from old age and made one final attack on Cormyr (see the novel Cormyr).
And they sure as heck didn't like it when near the same thing happened in modern-day Cormyr (see the novel Fire in the Blood).
So: No dragons. Especially purple ones.
Instead: wyverns. Wyverns are OK.
Why?
Wyverns are far more plentiful in Cormyr than super rare gem dragons are.
Wyverns aren't prohibited by law and tradition from trespassing in Cormyr like dragons are.
Wyverns have a history in Cormyr, too. They don't call that big star-shaped lake in the middle of Cormyr the Wyvernwater for nothing you know. Then there's the Wyvernspur noble family and their particular wyvern affliction...but I digress.
Wyverns require smart, dedicated riders to handle them.
Cormyr's monarch wouldn't want just anyone doing this on her behalf. She'll want people she can trust, i.e., her soldiers. Her Purple Dragons.
These are the sort of capable riders a Cormyrean ruler would grant the noble rank of Knight to, see?
These are the sort of loyal, trustworthy people that Cormyr's Crowned Heads would pair with adventurers and bid them go patrol high in the sky over the rugged Stonelands, across the vast green reaches of the Hullack, through the bilious quagmire of the Vast Swamp, and up into the wind-tossed crags of the Stormhorns and Thunder Peaks.
Places where danger brews and adventurers are needed.
Wyverns. Not dragons.

2025.01.31 02:20 tpd388 MSFS 2020 VR setup missing binding
Just tried to set up a meta quest 3 in MSFS 2020. Went into set up the key bindings and wasn’t able to save. Ended up force quitting the game and keep getting this ‘missing binding. VR camera reset is required to play in VR. please assign a command to this action’. No matter what I do this box pops up and can’t close it.
I’ve tried force quitting, safe mode, unplugging all controllers/VR headset, resetting computer, and uninstalled and reinstalled and I keep getting this. No clear answers on here, steam or MSFS forums.
I am not able to click on any other menu options. If I click cancel or assign a binding this window doesn’t ever close.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'm currently worldbuilding, but I've run into a little predicament regarding the skin colours for different characters. I aim to be descriptive, but I don't actually know how to describe every skin colour. Currently I default to the following: pale, fair, beige, tan, light brown, medium brown, and dark brown, as well as some fantasy ones like green, blue, red, pink, yellow, chalk-white, grey, orange, black, gold, silver, purple, and violet. This has been good enough to get me this far, but it's beginning to show its limitations, especially regarding real world skin colours. There are so many varieties even in the real world, so the few I default to won't cut it. Is there a comprehensive list of names for every possible human skin colour, or at least most of them?
Also, since the character profile I'm currently working on led me to asking this here, fixing that one in particular is of great importance. For the sake of reference, this is a character I would describe as visually inspired by Jenna Ortega, so finding a name for her skin colour would be helpful.

I for the life of me can not remember the name of this game. It was very similar to Tavern Rumble on mobile in that you would build up essentially a deck of monsters and various troops that you would put on a massive grid to fight the enemies own army. I remember that is has a sort of darker post apocalyptic theme to it and it was in 16-bit graphics. please help ;-;

2025.01.31 02:20 secret_fish_wife Connecting a character to an environment in a container?
Hello guys! I’m still quite new to touchdesigner, and i wanted to make a little worm dance according to various music, but my problem comes when trying to also add to the main project the environment i want him to be in, which i decided to place in a container, for tidiness purposes. This environment also reacts to music. Anyhow, when i try to take the environment out of the container, it automatically connects itself to the render, light and geo that the worm is connected to, so instead of seeing the environment in the background i still see the worm, which is quite frustrating since i don’t really know what’s wrong. I’m attaching the .toe file as i don’t know how much sense this all makes just from the text. If anyone can give me pointers on how to approach this issue, i would dearly appreciate it :')

2025.01.31 02:20 Hoomaun 2 planes with problems
 | I have two planes based on Horatio Philips's 1904 and 1907 multiplanes respectively. Plane #1 is pretty much done but I cant get the functionality quite where I would like it. I'm mostly certain that the design of Plane #1 just doesn't translate to trailmakers well. -Problem 1: It always pitches down and I must continually tap s to keep it straight, and I don't have the slightest clue how to solve that, I've looked at other planes and tried moving the forces around a lot. -Problem 2: It turns slow, probably because I cant get the drag centers particularly far back without ruining the look. Plane #2 is what caused me to make this post. I figured its design will transfer over to trail makers better, and I was in the stage of testing that theory with a less form-over-function prototype build when it unexpectedly had an even more pronounced problem that I couldn't figure out -Priblem: pitches up massively, very annoying to drive. Theres probably some fundamental part of plane design I don't understand, but I've made jets that fly fine, and I couldn't figure out how to fix my problems by looking at nice flying planes in the workshop. 2025.01.31 02:20 Overpar_69 Loud “clank” when I made a left turn.
While turning into my driveway my truck made a loud popping sound that sounded like metal breaking. It was a loud pop then nothing came of it. I immediately inspected the driver side wheel area and saw no visible damage but I’m also not a mechanic. I drove around the neighborhood to see if I could see any difference but the truck handled smoothly. No difference and the noise did not happen again when I pulled into my driveway the second time. I even went back and forth a couple times and nothing. It’s about a 3 inch curb off the street. I was turning left when I it made the sound. Before I spend the rest of the night worrying about it does anyone know anything I don’t? 2019 f150 5.0
