2025.01.31 02:16 PsychonauticResearch Small-Scale LSA extraction
 | This is a small scale sample of a crude LSA extract(still containing some oils from the seeds). I did this relatively quick just to test a hypothesis and I’m sure more time with an NPS would remove most of these plant oils. A small bit of LSA seems to be in the oils as well shown by the dimmer but still clear glow under UV of the oil sample. Not as bright as the primarily powdered sample but still present and the oils themselves are likely not enough to provide as much of the negative side effects compared to raw seeds. Starting material was ~160 morning glory seeds, powdered and dissolved into 91% IPA, shaken in a sealed container every 5-10 minutes for an hour to hour and a half. The seed mush was filtered and the IPA was kept. Initially naptha was added(it’s what I had on hand since I ran out of heptane) but the layers didn’t seperate as expected. I decided to increase the acidity with lemon juice(a common component in CWE and a weak acid so it seemed like a nice and food-safe option). Once the acidity was increased slightly, the layers separated almost immediately. In hindsight, I would probably add a little lemon juice to 91 or 99% IPA for the initial extraction, then I’d have more rapid extraction and I can immediately use a NPS after the filtration. In either case it seemed to not matter too much since it worked. The solvent layer was tossed and the IPA/lemon juice layer was kept. This was then evaporated which took longer thanks to the lemon juice, but the result still was far better than I expected. Samples were used specifically due to LSA being destroyed in light and heat pretty quickly. The extract was done in a dark room(setup like a photo development room), and all was done between 57-61 degrees F, no heat added. I definitely think he'll sus out the traitor and find the island that the squid game is being held, though I don't see how his group could handle an entire army of soldiers. The only reason why Gi-hun's group lasted for so long was, I think, because of In-ho wanting to crush Gi-hun. I'm just hoping that they'll focus on Jun-ho and the outside more than the squid game since that was my favorite parts in season 2.

I just did a transmission fluid drain and fill on my Pilot at my base’s auto hobby shop. They had about 10 different funnels and not a single one was small enough to fit inside the dip stick tube. I had to take the smallest one, which was about the exact same size as the tube, hold it tight against it and be careful. I stop at AutoZone and couldn’t find any small enough. Anyone have any recommendations?
