I am trying to network with this person I met through my job. I initially met them at work and connected via linked in, then coffee chatted them last summer. In the fall I reached out to them but didn’t hear back for a couple months. In that waiting time I think I followed up once or twice. When they replied they apologized for missing my message and expressed having a family matter that caused them to be out of office. I responded to their message stating my understanding and appreciation of their efforts but since then haven’t heard anything again. This was in mid November. I followed up a few weeks later, and then a final time in the new year. Every time I have corresponded with them I have been professional and acknowledged their time and efforts. When they have answered and connected they have been very receptive and willing to assist me. I haven’t heard still since November and am wondering if I should accept that they might not answer. I am very keen on connecting with this person and am wondering how many times is too many to follow up. I know persistence is key but I don’t wanna come off as bothersome to them. Any advice would be great.
Also as a side note. In the email that they did respond to, I mentioned to them that if now was not a good time or they weren’t interested in connecting with me to let me know. I tried to be very understanding and not insensitive to them being out of office.

Its also taking its time processing detections. I limited it to 7 cameras and it has processed 8 detections while it has 53 detections in queue for the last 4 hours... I'm not super impressed so far. I think the AI ports are a bit more useful at this time but I really hope UI updates and optimizes the key to do what they advertise. Never played ranked in any competitive game, seeing all the posts and scores and feeling like I want to give it a try.
Don't care how high up I get, just feeling a bit blah and repetitive when playing quick play.
I'm okay with some characters, but haven't really found my 'main' character yet, should I try do this first? The main few I play are um... Not liked in the competitive community 😅

What goes through your mind when you listen to Trump speak? He barely makes any sense to me, so I cannot understand how so many put faith and trust in him. I mean I understand what ideas he is trying to convey, but it's obvious he is trying to take you for a ride.
All I hear is 'word salad' or someone whose mental capacity has severely declined. Sometimes I wonder, "is he on something, is he drunk?". For the life of me, I can't understand how he has captivated so many people. Are people more interested in the fact that he shares their ideologies, so him not making sense is less important? His vocabulary is so limited; does that make him more likable to some? I'm really perplexed by this and just wondering what others see.
In his address about the American Airlines tragedy, not only did he go off the rails with unsubstantiated claims and lies about DEI, he also went on a little mental tangent about the Potomac being so "icy, icy, cold". Like, why would you do that? People are in grief and he's reiterating how cold the river is...?

Three Lakeland Police officers and their supervisor sergeant, all with the department’s street crimes unit, resigned on Wednesday, in lieu of termination for repeatedly and intentionally turning off their department-issued body-worn cameras, and the dashboard camera of their patrol vehicle during a vehicle pursuit in March 2024.
They also lied in reports, stating that video was not available.
The officers are:
Sgt. Mark Eby, 60, head of the street crimes unit, a 29-year veteran of the force and 2009 LPD Officer of the Year. Eby received the Medal of Valor that same year. Officer Jason McCain, 48, an 11-year veteran of LPD who began his law enforcement career with the Bartow Police Department, where he worked for two years. A decorated officer, he also had the most use-of-force Internal Affairs complaints of any officer at LPD in the last five and a half years. I am looking to upgrade my audio setup and would love recommendations for a system (headphones + dac/amp if needed) with my budget being around $800. This will primarily be used on my PC for music listening with the occasional gaming here and there-- no mic will be necessary.
My music taste leans heavily towards rap/hip-hop, pop, and electronic, so I'm looking for something with great bass and overall clarity. I'm initially thinking closed back might be the way to go for the bass, but I'm open to open back suggestions if they deliver the low-end punch I'm after.
