Hello, and welcome to my silly little ad for a Minecraft server.
Just as a note before you read any further: This server is in OPEN BETA. Expect tons of bugs. Because of this, you will be sent to "The Void" (limbo server) and will be given instructions there on how to become whitelisted. Eventually, there won't be a whitelist, but to keep bots out there is one for now. - Either wait in the void, contact me on BlueSky, or email the support email to be whitelisted (details in the void).
For the past year, I've been developing this server on and off, and I'd like to think it's finally to a point where it's ready for the public. I've added a lot of quality-of-life things, as well as adding/changing entire game mechanics. Some stuff I've done are, for instance...
- Skills / Gained by collecting XP for each category and granting rewards/abilities.
- In-Game Money system / Earned by leveling up skills, farming and selling items, and trading with players (and who knows, by winning minigames in the future). You can even buy in-game ranks with it; you don't have to spend real money if you don't want to here.
- Custom Items / There aren't very many at the time of writing, but so far, there's a small set of spell books and some custom weapons. There's going to be a LOT more in the future!
- Seasons / Periodically change over time. They change the weather, grass/leaves color, and affect your temperature.
- Temperature system: Sort of self-explanatory. You can get cold and hot. You can use fire or wear armor to raise your temperature, or soul fire and water to cool off.
- Pets / Almost every entity is tamable by hitting it with a lead. Tamed pets can be taken with you across servers/worlds.
- Player Bag (/bag) / A menu including QOL features (warps, different menus), as well as having unlockables such as portable storage and portable tables (enchanting, anvil, crafting, etc.).
- World Browser & Worlds / Essentially a server selector. There are several survival worlds, each with their own unique features like custom monsters, modified world generation, and more.
- Claims (/claim) / You can make your stuff completely invulnerable to anything anyone could ever do. And don't worry, you can trust your friends to your claims.
- ... And more!
And if you don't like any of those, don't worry! The base game is still 100% playable. There's a 100% Vanilla world with absolutely no modifications aside minor QOL things that don't affect gameplay. Do note however that you will still be able to bring items (including custom items) to/from this world from other worlds.

We are pretty well traveled. I find that some of the most memorable experiences from our travels involved some interaction with locals. I remember once we ran into a street party in Valencia and we were dancing with them for an hour. Once we were in Red Sea, Jordan, just strolling on the beach, watching the local kids swimming. One boy notice me taking pictures, come up to me for a pose, I took his photo, he thanked me and asked my daughter to take picture with him. Ok, why not. Next boy noticed and wanted in. The next thing you know, I have a picture of my daughter with 20 boys around her. It was clean fun, nothing creepy. It was awesome. I went to vietnam, hired local students to take us around town on their own motorcycle. It was so much fun, we did 2 more tours with them, and we treated them to lunch and eating local street food. Just to name a few.
These are the things I want to see happens more. Since we are family, can’t really just go to local bars and clubs to meet people, and I don’t find much personal interaction with professional tour guides, so that’s out too. What’s your suggestion?

started playing 40 days ago on a brand new server. Everything is great, I am having lots of fun. I don't feel the need to spend lots of money or really have any complaints...
other than the zoom. Please dear god let me zoom out more.
I don't usually play this genre (closest to it has been Clash of clans Max Th 14 btw. subtle flex)
So I can't say other games are different, or similar, but for a game with over a Billion $ in revenue to not have at least the option to zoom out more even on just the island or in the city so I can see everything... Its atrocious.
Other than that, I am enjoying the game!

2025.01.31 04:54 cowrunamuck Finally found a moisturizer I like!
I have dry, dehydrated skin that can sometimes be reactive, and for the past four months, I’ve been looking for a new moisturizer after my skin totally rejected the basic Target brand one I’d been using for a decade! I read a bunch on here and other skincare subs and decided I’d also like to add peptides since I have some new fine lines after losing weight.
So, my new fave is Stratia’s Interface Peptide Cream! I have been SO surprised because this was actually the first moisturizer I bought when I went down this skincare rabbit hole because I liked the idea of the small, woman-owned, science-backed company. But I didn’t try it until about 10 days ago. Partially, this is because in the early days of trying new products, my skin barrier was so ruined it was rejecting everything new I tried to patch test, so I thought my skin had rejected Interface, but no. I’ve learned a lot more and brought my barrier back, and now it’s really loving this formula. It’s so much lighter than the thick creams I’ve been using, but it is SO moisturizing. I swear, my skin stays hydrated all day, way more hydrated than with any other product I’ve used. Plus, it’s the first moisturizer to actually give me the “plumpness” I was looking for. My expression lines around my mouth are a lot less noticeable and the dehydration lines I got while using other moisturizers (weirdly enough, Dieux Instant Angel dehydrated me so much!) went away. My skin also feels the most like skin after using Interface. Overall, I’m just really really happy with how it makes me feel. I’m still only 10 days into trying it, but it’s really won me over.
Things I also tried:
- ELF Holy Hydration (fragrance free). This is what I used to heal my skin barrier with then Laneige Cream Skin and Avene Cicalfate during the worst of it. But, it was actually terribly clogging for my pores and I eventually realized it wasn’t what I needed.
- Peach & Lily Peptide Pro Moisturizer. This worked well for me, but was almost too thick. It also sat on top of my skin for a while and didn’t sink in right away. It worked great, though, in terms of helping with moisturizing and fine lines. It did occasionally burn my cheeks a little, though.
- Naturium Multi-Peptide Moisturizer. I initially thought this was great (skin felt like skin, good moisturizing), but then it started to give me acne and the appearance of my skin devolved. It also occasionally burnt my cheeks. I stopped it after a week.
- Dieux Instant Angel. This almost disappeared into my face immediately upon applying and wasn’t moisturizing enough. I had to apply both the Laneige Cream Skin and my Experiment Super Saturated on soaking wet skin just to get this to work at all. I was so surprised because in every other way, it felt great. I still may use it if I need something totally neutral with nothing really active in it. Or it might be fine for summer. But it just wasn’t enough moisture for me.
Thanks to all of you for writing such great product reviews and giving me advice along the way! I’m looking forward to getting to play with serums now that I have a moisturizer that works!
