2025.01.31 02:12 Krazzy4u Sent CPAP without agreeing
My wife completed a sleep study about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It showed a mild case of sleep apnea and recommended a CPAP. She talked on the phone with someone who had a heavy accent, but did not agree to get a machine until she talked to me. Since I have had a CPAP for 20 years, she wanted to ask me what I thought about it. Today we find a new CPAP machine on the porch that she never agreed to order! Has this happened to anyone else? Our providers Kaiser and the machine was sent by Apria.

I tried searching and studying different types of sensors, but I'm just confused on what sensors should I choose. And also should I use Arduino or ESP32 instead for this project?

2025.01.31 02:12 Ok-Okra-9431 Fitting (ish) question
Hi All,
I have a somewhat simple question (in my mind). So I recently had my annual optometrist visit, no big deal, prescription stayed the same etc. Decided since the army pays for my fitting I would check out contact lenses. I actually haven't seen my contact lens prescription yet as it's not finalized but for reference:
OS: -2.50, OD: -5.50
Initially was given Total 30's - I did ask for monthly lenses to try first cause they're definitely more economical than dailies. Not completely sure what this prescription is as I did the whole learn to put them in/take them out thing, and basically went home wearing them. I've given these basically around 13 days daily wear so I can rule out the honeymoon phase and see how my eyes adapt to them. Noticed a little bit of issues with print anywhere between 12" - maybe 18" away, talked to the optometrist when I picked up my regular glasses and I got given a week's worth of Dailies to try out (B&L Ultra-1).
Obviouisly these are a little more pain in the *** for a newbie to put in and take out cause they're noticeably thinner, checking the packaging I got OS: -2.75, OD: -5.5. Vision wise, I have no issues with print at any distance really throughout the day. I can view my phone, some paperwork etc very easily. They are noticably drier though, especially taking them out at the end of the day (I usually wear contacts during this fitting phase from about 0700 - 1900)
I don't have a follow up appointment yet but I am probably going to swing by the Optometrist tomorrow to bring up both sets of concerns for the lenses. I'm wondering though, I want to ask for some additional suggestions for monthly lenses, or failing that some less expensive daily lenses. But I also don't want to look like a mooch asking for freebies, but these two trial sets don't really feel right for me. I've already made it clear shopping around online I'm going to buy my lenses there (They cost $5 more than online...and at the doc I don't pay shipping so....easy decision to support my local place especially considering the level of customer service I get).
Anyway thanks for reading the rant, Just wanted some opinions from you folks cause there has been lots of great advice I've found reading over here.

I have walked away from so many sales/offers because I had a question and it was unaswered. Is there a way to ask a question? Usually I want to know if there are strong scents like Gain. That is an easy yes/no.
In the end sellers lose out b/c I am sure lots of items are just fine (I often like new items btw) but I don't want to gamble anymore with all the crap that is sprayed on so much stuff.
New stuff seems much safer but how should I know? The seller should know.

I liked watching this guy, he got to 20k+ in just a few months. He made pretty wholesome content, and was even traveling the US visiting fans. He was literally living out of a truck and making fitness content.
His channel just disappeared, he wouldn't delete it, so was it banned? I see no reason for either outcome, do ya'll have any theories or information on this??

Last night i washed my hair in the shower, like i do every 2-3 days, and it seemed fine and everything was fine til i woke up this morning and looked at my hair with my phone camera.. my hair was full of dandruff like it wasnt not noticeable and i usually always have dandruff but this was insane its all over my hair and i start school on monday which will be my first day of year 9, i cant go to school looking like this, you probably know how judgemental year 9s are.
So i need help to get rid of it all asap, as far as im aware i wash my hair properly by putting about an australian 20 cent coin sized amount of "head and shoulders" anti dandruff shampoo on my hand and massaging it through my hair, then after about 30 seconds to a minute i start rinsing it out under the water, im pretty sure im doing everything right, so whats the problem??
