In the world of Avalyn dwarves have discovered a way to cycle weapons using gas mechanics (due to an unfortunate mining incident). This has lead to the invention of cycling weapons, able to be fired without need to cock or prime the weapon. Please be kind, I am very new to homebrewing for Pathfinder 2e and am not entirely aware of every part of the internal math and game balance. I am very open to suggestions and potential fixes. 2025.01.31 02:33 Jenkies630 Undiagnosed systemic issue with nerve pain, doc has suggested amitryptiline, Effexor, or Cymbalta
While chasing down the cause of a lot of systemic issues (listed below) and waiting for my first visit with a rheumatologist, which wont be until April, my primary care doc has recommended I try amitryptiline, Effexor, or Cymbalta for neuropathic pain. I'm very interested in trying one of these. Gabapentin did nothing to help the pain, and I can't take NSAIDS due to chronic kidney disease. Kidney safety is of utmost importance for deciding which drug to choose. I am also hoping to gain perspective on which of these is most likely to lead to improvement of my pain, as well as how well these are tolerated and any particularly common side effects. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to lend your advice.
- sciatic pain
- hand/arm neuropathy
- back and chest pain
- knee and ankle pain
- frequent diarrhea
- history (2022 and before only) of reynaud's phenonen, but only twice
- history of trunk and hand rashes

2025.01.31 02:33 Opposite_Coconut9734 Our parish is really far away and we're feeling isolated. How closely can we rub elbows with the local Protestants?
I asked a similar question on Catholicism a while ago and got really confusing and conflicting answers.
A year ago our family of 6 moved to a town of 2500 people that is only 0.3% Catholic according to census data and I don't even know who those other~8 Catholics are. This entire region has very few Catholics. We have to drive about 30 minutes to the next town over to attend Mass at our incredibly small church that is mostly people over 50 and virtually no children other than our own. We feel like we have zero sense of community, both in general and in our parish.
Our town is full of Methodist and Baptist and Wesleyan churches that are friendly and welcoming and full of children and things for children to do.
I'm not asking if we can go to schismatic services as a substitute for genuine worship and real sacraments ... But we crave a sense of community with other people who love Jesus. Is it acceptable for our family to get involved with a local Protestant church for the sake of community?

For about the past year, I've been stuck in the 500 range. Twice I hit 600, but dipped back below. This week, I finally went back above 600 and the rule I have is you have to play a game in that bracket to stay in that bracket. Even though I lost that game, it still kept me in the 600 range. That was the third time I went above 600 but the first time I maintained it!

2025.01.31 02:33 backwoodsman421 Is it me or did BF5 completely drop the ball with the support class?
I’ve played bf1 as support since forever it’s a jack of all trades in my opinion and my favorite because…… limpet.
I decided to try my hand at bf5 again after years of not playing it and I forgot how much they ruined the support class. Is it just me? Seems like they nerfed it heavily. Guns are ok and the good ones need mounted (and the ones that can or can’t be shoulder fired seems like an arbitrary decision), explosives suck, and the ammo crate feels clumsy.
Also, the lack of smoke grenades is ridiculous especially since it seems half the other team loves to snipe.
Anyways I shouldn’t have left bf1 it truly is a masterpiece.
