Hey guys, I got a darksaber for Christmas a long while ago and I've completely given up on disneys help. Within two days, I left the blade in for one night and now it refuses to turn on.
No sound when ejected/inserted, and no startup at all. I've tried changing the batteries, cleaning the ports, and nothing's changed. I can't get a refund from Disney or a replacement saber, and I'm starting to lose hope. This was over a YEAR ago, mind you. Any help is appreciated

How many different people have you gone to see while you’ve had/you have sesamoiditis? And who has been the most beneficial?
My injury occured on the 11th of June 2024, and have seen my GP, a physiotherapist, sports specialist, Podiatrist and a Rongoā Māori Practitioner so far for my injury of sesamoiditis + CRPS. I’m still seeing the sports specialist and have just had my second appointment with my Rongoā Māori Practitioner. I only really see my Podiatrist when my feet need a clean up, I usually just email her for other advice.
My Aunty has just informed me that she saw an Osteopath for her back a while ago, and says he was amazing. So, im actually gonna go and see him hopefully next week! I’m based in NZ BTW. Let me know if you are too! 😊

Hey! I'm planning on doing a streamed playthrough of the Silent Hill 2 remake soon, starting sometime in February, and I wanted to ask: Is there any interest in a full-spoiler playthrough? Plenty of YouTubers/streamers play the game and preserve as much of the story for their audience as possible, which is commendable, but I'm really interested in digging deep into all of the details/symbolism/craft in real time, rather than having to wait until everything's revealed. And I don't know that I've seen a PLAYTHROUGH that digs into that stuff in real time, rather than, like, a video essay or something.
Some examples of topics I want to talk about:
1) Talking about James' clutching his hands at the beginning and after he kills Eddie, rather than having to wait until potentially after the video tape to talk about how it's drawing a connection between the two times James has taken a human life.
2) Talking about EVERY Angela line delivery and how the choices that Gianna Kiehl makes as opposed to the original transforms the meaning of certain lines and scenes.
3) On the topic of the different performances, digging into the approach Salóme Gunnarsdóttir took with her performance of Maria, the approach the WRITERS took with the character, what the idea behind it may have been, and how I genuinely believe her performance isn't getting the appreciation it deserves. (Short version: I LIKE BOTH THE OG AND REMAKE PERFORMANCES FOR DIFFERENT REASONS; DON'T @ ME, BRO.)
4) Drawing attention to as many of the little details Bloober added to the game that so many people on this Reddit have called out (the "guilt" poster in the hospital, the photos, etc.) as I can.
5) TIME LOOP THEORY: YAY OR NAY? 😆 (Personally, I think the game works either way, but I'll get into that more on stream.)
I'll also be playing New Game+ with the express intent of getting the Stillness (and potentially the Rebirth) ending, so I can dig into some of the New Game+ features as well. AND I'm going to be digging into the music, because there's SO MUCH intentionality with the thematic material in the remake that I want to talk about. I even have a scene set up on OBS so that I can bring my MIDI keyboard up at certain points and call out specific melodies/chord progressions/themes.
Anyway. Does that sound like it'd be a good time? Are there enough people who have beaten the remake and/or the original at this point that would be into something like that? Is there anything specific people want to hear about that I maybe haven't thought of?
(Also, because this is the Internet, I feel the need to make this disclaimer: I do not and will not claim to be the be-all, end-all authority on this game and what it means. There are a lot of things I plan on referencing as "evidence" for certain things, like the Lost Memories stuff, interviews, and such, but 1) I'm a pretty strong believer in Death of the Author, and 2) I think one of the best things about Silent Hill 2 as a work of art (yes, we're going there) is that it doesn't tell you what to think, feel, or believe about a lot of the details and symbolism. Sure, there are always going to be some takes that are blatantly unsupported by the game, and certain details that aren't really up to interpretation, but a lot of the best things about SH2 (and other moments scattered throughout the series) come from the fact that it's almost like a Rorschach test: it presents you with an image, and what you see in it oftentimes says more about yourself than it does about the work.)
