Long time lurker and appreciate everyone’s advice and experiences. Hoping to get a gut check on if FIRE is a reality or if we need to stick with the daily grind a few more years to shore up our finances. Neither of us are excited to be working.
My situation is the following: - 46m and 46f with 2 kids (14&11)in VHCOL - Annual spend $200-250k while working but expect $150-175k post FIRE, HHI $750k - $3m brokerage - $2.1m pretax account - $200k 529 - $2.8m (2sfh) rental properties $85k gross (no loans) - $3.6m primary and secondary residence ($750k @ 3% loan remaining)
Based on all the calculators and financial advisors I’ve spoke with, all seem to indicate we are FIRE eligible now. Fear of healthcare costs, college, HHI, and about retiring this early in life with old age running in both sides of the family keep both of us working.
One thought is to sell one rental and take the hit in capital gains to throw it into the market to improve yields.

Moin Leute erstmal vorab ja ich hab die Suchfunktion benutzt sie ist der größte Dreck.
Ich bin von ansay auf mcos umgestiegen weil alle meinen es ist besser ist aber etwas komplizierter als gedacht weil ich bei der apo selber bestellen/reservieren muss wo das bei ansay alles automatisch ging(dafür spart man im Vergleich zu ansay ein Haufen).
Ich hab erst vorrätigkeit geprüft dann ein Rezept erstellt und weiterleiten lassen zu den apotheken und danach reserviert/gekauft weil ich davon ausging es ist so wie bei ansay wo sich die Apo dann mit den nächsten Schritten bei mir meldet
Ich hab bei 2 Apotheken bestellt die eine war unkompliziert hat nach Rezept gefragt beim Ablauf und zur Not auch eine Email um da das Rezept zu senden. Aber bei Dresden herbery steh ich etwas aufm Schlauch und zwar kann man angeblich im Warenkorb das Rezept hinzufügen aber der ganze Ablauf einschließlich Bezahlung hat ohne Rezept stadtgefunden.
Heißt es die haben mein Rezept schon erhalten oder muss ich den die Tage hinterherrennen?

I have been living with my roommate for months, and I feel like I am going to snap and yell at him. Please tell me of I'm crazy or not.
I moved into a 2 bedroom apartment and had a randomly assigned roommate. Everything seemed normal until small comments started coming up. When I was cleaning one day, he wanted to have a tour of my room, so I showed him. During this time, he saw a picture of my boyfriend and I, and he commented that he "would try not to get in between that". I thought it was a little strange, but I ignored it.
The next day, my boyfriend visited to see the new place. I showed him around and then my roommate got back. This is where things got a little weird. When talking to us, he started asking questions about who was the "more dominate in bed". I tried steering the conversation away from that, but he then asked "Can you each give me your most dominating voices, so I can be the judge". I sternly said no. He then went "Ohhhh so you're really gonna make me beg for it huh".
He sometimes just sits on the couch and points out things I'm doing wrong in games that I'm playing. I'm not a super competitive person, but it drives me crazy. He acts like a know it all sometimes, and idk what to do.
There were lots of other instances of him making me uncomfortable like him saying he and his old roommate would walk around naked in front of each other, him telling me to not break the table with my boyfriend, and other instances as well. I now tend to just stay in my room and go to my boyfriends when I can. He also never cleans and leaves crumbs and spills everywhere. He also would jump from his room everytime I get back and ask where I was. He would also make me breakfast in the morning as well, even when I ask him not to. I'm not sure if I'm an asshole for not wanting to talk to him, but I really do not know what to do. It's been months now, and I am thinking about moving. Any advice would be really appreciated. Or do I just yell and call it quits and move as soon as I can?

 | 6 years ago my life was completely altered and I've had severe impairment to Quality of Life caused by severe chronic muscle pain for no real reason, all I did was sneeze and pinched a nerve for a split second sending a lightning bolt up my spine and apparently a shock my nervous system so bad that my nervous system has practically forgotten to how to control my back muscles correctly. My symptom profile is chronic pain, weakness lack of endurance, poor motor control, stiffness, apparently triggering poor flexibility in my lower body which drives me absolutely batshit crazy for butterfly flare and also makes me unable to push myself around very well down in butterfly so I have to cope using Warrior plastic slide plates on my pads. I cope with low dose maltrexone and Gabapentin, what people don't realize is my symptoms are so bad I haven't held a job in 3 years. I can do Sprints of high intensity activity because endorphins are a wonderful drug apparently. My disability is kind of invisible, I mask it with drugs, use mechanical things such as a back brace and core 3.0 injury stability shorts to try to reduce the symptoms but the muscle guarding is probably the worst of all that I hate the most that I have to try and treat and get rid of but it comes right the freak back after I do tissue work and become active. Hell I lost 65 lb with ozempic and it's done jack shit for my symptoms, at least it allows me to be a damn goalie and do shinny now also training for an hour with a feeling like I'm dying. my orange kitty is about 6 yrs old and has been having this black idk what appear in her nostrils recently. i read on here that supposedly it’s normal for orange cats as they age but idk i want some confirmation cuz it just seems odd. first few times i saw it i peeled it off w my nail but it just reappears and is almost like a part of her skin i feel?? when i looked it up on here some ppl say they peel it off their cats some ppl didn’t say they did they said their “freckles” so i’ve stopped trying to remove it but im worried its affecting her breathing or something idk. just someone pls explain wtf is that 😭😭 along w that she’s been having dark brown/ dark red eye crusties and boogies which i read was from an ingredient in her food but we haven’t changed brands and it started recently as well. someone pls confirm am i crazy or is something wrong w my cat.

I am unsure whether to focus on CFA Level 2 in November or CAT in November. Additionally, I am uncertain about my college placements and whether pursuing an MBA from a Tier 1 institute would be a better option now or doing CFA L2.
