I'm graduating from a high school in California with a 3.86 GPA, 1370 SAT, and little to no ec's. That being said I want to go to a good college. I've applied to UCSB, UCR, UCSD, UCD, UMich, UNC, and UF although I doubt I'll get into any of them besides UCR (my essays were awful). I understand my high school stats are quite mediocre but I eventually want to get into one of the more prestigious UC's such as LA or Berkeley. I've heard that the way the Californian education system is wired encourages schools to accept transfers from community colleges.
Would I need to go there for both years or just my sophomore one? How much does what I did in high school set me back? What would be the best route to ensure my acceptance into a better school?

 | Hi, I have a UNAS Pro and I was looking at an SMB share I had made for a media server and noticed that the storage space wasn't lining up with what it says in the web client. I have 7 4TB drives in a raid 5 configuration, but I had made this share and limited its capacity to 12TB. I have this added as a network location on my PC but for some reason it shows a smaller total capacity as well as a different usage. I know when it comes to any storage that the advertised amount isn't the same as the actual amount but I certainly have more total space since I had only limited it to 12TB. Can anyone explain why this is occurring? Its very strange to see a different total capacity for something like this but also the total space is confusing me the most because I thought at the very least that would be the same. Is this a bug with the client? To double check though as I know site manager has a different client than the built in local client, they do both show the same data. Any thoughts on this is much appreciated, honestly I am really happy with it as I really only needed a NAS for storage. Hi, so like many of you I spent dozens of hours research before buying a monitor and honestly I keep changing my mind over which to choose.
I want a 27" 1440p monitor and it seems every time I make up my mind I read that that particular model has issues, or that qd-oled in unplayable in anything but complete darkness and the panel scratches extremely easily, or the woled matte sucks ass, but the glossy woled asus monitor has terrible vertical branding and gradient, and on and on.
Honestly I'm mainly down to these monitors:
27GS95QE XG27ACDNG MSI MPG 271QRX AW2725DF Now I don't live in the US and stores here don't have oled monitors, only TVs, so I can't go and check them out there, nor can I easily return them, I'd be buying from abroad. I'm also using my savings for this so I really need to make the right choice.
I know the answer may be a bit biased, but: Can I go wrong with any of these?
I have ceiling LED lights that point up and I can control their brightness, I have a windows to my left, I have curtains that block all the sunlight but a bit of that sunlight does come in through the sides (but the room is still dimly lit). I'm coming from a Benq TN panel for refence, so I'm pretty sure anything would look amazing.
Sorry to bother you with a question that you probably already read 234123 times but I don't want to waste my money and really don't know what to choose.
