 | I got this roast after I read roasts are just uncut steaks and tried cutting it up myself to continue evolving in the culinary art. So after cutting and trimming I seasoned them with the meat church Holy Gospel (light layer) Holy Cow (top layer) I massaged it in and let it rest like that maybe 45 minutes. I created a garlic butter mix I smoked them to about 115 degrees the I put them on the blackstone to sear them with that griddle press. I let them rest and presented it to my family for their approval P.s. The title is what I am having issues dealing with, pretty simply.
To get a little into the details, I(25M) was dumped yesterday morning by my gf(24F) that had I been with almost 4 years. We had been “giving it a chance” for a month now after she tried to initiate a break up a month ago and I, admittedly, asked her to rethink and stay, which she did for a while. She was(kinda still is) my best friend and the closest person to me. We share a leased apartment together, and I moved to a different city after college to be closer to her(I went to college in her home town). She pretty much ripped the bandaid off yesterday, and went through the motions to make it clear she did not want the relationship anymore, which I respect and am coming to terms with now.
I wish not to get too into the weeds of why the break up happened, but her reasoning involved a “falling out” basically where she had been slowly losing the emotional connection that we initially had through the first 1-2 years of our relationship. We had our fare share of fights along the line, and she said she even started to become resentful towards me and thus felt uncomfortable in the relationship. There was a part in our early relationship too where we both agreed to separate for a while bc she went to college in a neighboring state (why I moved later). Basically a small sum of things that became too much for her to keep doing and eventually felt like she was “stringing” me along. In all, I respect her reasoning, though painful, and accept my faults in the downfall of our relationship.
The issue I am facing here is what comes next? I’ve been alone for the majority of the last 24hours and it has been a struggle. I am really struggling being alone with myself after being almost constantly with someone for 3.5-4 years. I am very thankful for the few friends I have outside of my relationship, but they have their own lives and are too busy to spend an extended amount of time with or speaking to me. My gf and I were so close and would chat all the time, send funny videos and pictures to each other, and share our gossip, so going from that to a significant more amount of alone time has not been good for me. She has left the apartment to stay with her friends from college, and given me space for myself to process this. Again, I have major respect for her for doing this is in a mature way, but it still has its major pains and has left me more alone that I have been comfortable with for a long time. This, along with the significant anxiety I was diagnosed with recently, has culminated to some horrible feelings of despair similar to a bottomless pit.
I know this may seem really silly to a lot of you, but I do not know how to appropriately handle this/myself and my outpouring emotions currently. I called some close friends for an hour when they could, I went out to get myself a meal, and I am listening to podcasts in the background while laying on the couch to feel less alone. But I still feel horrible at the fact that it is over and am struggling with handling those emotions on my own. I am aware that I am pretty much at day 1 with this, but it is beating down on my head. I am going through a lot of self doubt now and wondering if I was even a burden to her+her career. I simultaneously want to beg for her back, which I know I definitely shouldn’t do. What do you do in this position? With these thoughts and emotions? Thank you all.

We are family of 3 (Couple and 1 7yo boy) are going to travel to Central Europe this June.
Traveling from Prague as the entry point and Budapest the exit. We are not sure if there is the route is feasible or is there any good info/tips we can add on into our trip. In short, we had 12.5 days.
- Day 1-3 Prague (2.5 days)
- Visit Prague Castle
- Day Trip: Kutna Hora or Karlovy Vary
- Day 4-5 To Cesky Krumlov (2 days)
- Day 6-9 To Vienna (4 days)
- Explore Downtown (Opera House, Cathedrals etc)
- Premium Outlets
- Day Trip: Bratislava
- Day 10-12 (13 half day) To Budapest (3.5 days)
- Visit Children Railway
- Explore Pest Region
- Optional: Margaret Island
We visited Salzburg/Hallstatt and Germany before, so we would skip any side trip there.
Question to ask:
- What are the payment method in those countries? Are credit card (Apple Pay) feasible?
- Traveling by Train/Bus (train preferred). Is it too difficult to find route from Cesky Krumlov to Vienna?
- Is Cesky Krumlov too many days to spend? is there any good side/day trip from Cesky Krumlov?
- Maybe the trip are too sparse, that we feel there could be some other town/city to fit in a long the day as the base.

2025.01.31 03:11 Spica262 When did Porter Airlines become just another crappy discount flier?
I flew porter from Edmonton to Toronto round-trip and the experience was very different from when I used to live in Toronto when I would take Porter from the Billy Bishop airport.
Now they lowball their main ticket price to get you roped in and then up charge you for everything like Flair or Swoop or something similar.
Also, the customer service is downright pathetic. Although it’s hard to tell if it’s different than any other airline. It’s very strange to me. That commercial airlines tend to treat their customers like they are disposable. I’m not sure why this is the case but Porter used to have generally good customer service but now they are completely content to treat you like a number and inconvenience you with no remorse.
What happened over there?

Not to me. Fuck the under use, I don’t care about that. If it’s challenging then I’m down. I also didn’t care for Pianosaurus dying immediately, since the trailers didn’t give me anything to want from him. If there’s one thing I can complain about it’s that they reused the SMILING CRITTERS cutouts instead of giving the Nightmare Critters unique ones. But I enjoyed the rest of the game. Doey having a mental breakdown and going insane, reminds me of how Huggy helps us with the key then tries to murder us. Sawyer’s death was unnecessary but I find it as something to feel relieved about rather than disappointed by. He did create the monsters so he was the one antagonizing us since day 1, and he was most likely so old and whittled away that he would need to make his body the machine, that card was his life source and without the energy his expired body can’t move in. Yarnaby…I don’t understand why he caught FIRE but I think him dying in the middle was the right call since he’s not the focus of the chapter. And Ollie…people are upset that the twist that Ollie is the prototype was the case because everyone knew it. I liked it because it was a theory proven correct. All in all, I see most aspects as glass half full for this chapter and I would really only change the one thing. I truly believe you’re all overreacting, Pianosaurus was destined for nothing from the start.

hi everyone. my sweet mango went in to get spayed today. they did a blood test before and everything was fine. she has had all her shots and checkups, nothing out of the ordinary medically or behaviorally. when she received the injection for anesthesia, she had an adverse reaction and her gums lost color. i was told she stopped breathing for about two minutes and was resuscitated. however she has not fully recovered and now has some brain damage. her legs are stuck fully extended and her eyes arent moving, they look rolled back, and sort of like a head tilt. throughout the day she has become more responsive, she responds to her name, she sticks her tongue out and meows, and she is flicking her tail. however she cannot eat or drink water in this state. i was wondering if anyone has experience with something like this happening, and how hopeful i should be for recovery, even if its not a full one. the vet said one of her coworkers who has been a vet for 20 years was hopeful, but i want to be realistic and also understand more about what is going on/what is best for my baby. thank you so much, i am beside myself.

Somos amigos desde muito tempo, nunca desrespeitei ele nem nada do tipo. Resenhamos demais, mesmo sendo tímido e me privando de algumas coisas. Entrei no grupelho de amigos que ele me incluiu e seguimos assim por anos. Sempre fui o cara "tranquilaço", não mexo com ninguém, banco o doido às vezes, mas nada que fizesse alguém me desrespeitar por isso.
Jogando uma pelada na rua (um fut, nada demais) todo mundo sabe que na hora do jogo saem alguns xingamentos no calor do momento, brincamos e assim levamos.
Mas hoje pela noite aconteceu um episódio desagradável pra caralho entre eu e meu amigo. Em uma dividida de um cara do time dele que também é do nosso grupo de amigos, reclamei pro cara da violência dele com o mlk do meu time. Defendendo, na boa, é o certo né? Jogo disputado.
Porém D O NADA esse amigo em questão veio pra cima de mim me desrespeitar na frente de todo mundo me chamando de "retardado". Apontando o dedo pra cima de mim, e eu sem entender NADA, pois em nenhum momento me dirigi a ele.
Eu perguntei NA HORA sobre o PORQUÊ daquilo, e ele resolveu me ferir com coisas pessoais pra caralho que não podiam ser faladas ali na frente da menorzada.
Eu ainda retruquei dizendo "a gente conhece quem é quem na hora da raiva, eu tô ligado!"
Como não sou sangue de barata chamei ele de desempregado (minha consciência pesou, mas as coisas que ele disse foram da minha e pesadas pra caralho)
De volta ele continuou de mal comigo. Ficou um clima desnecessário, e esse grupinho de amigos que estamos gira em torno dele, concordam com tudo que ele faz, até fumar, beber pra caralho e se envolver em porrada.
Saí calado e decepcionado. Como um amigo pode mudar tanto e te ofender com coisas íntimas da tua vida? Sempre fui um mlk gentil demais com todo mundo. Não xinguei ninguém.
Quero continuar jogando bola e fazer parte do grupinho, tem pessoas boas lá, mas todos veem ele como uma liderança social. Pra ser honesto, não sei como resolver essa situação sem perder a amizade que eu tenho com ele.
Minha vontade é de nem cumprimentá-lo mais, meu Deus do céu...
Não sei o que houve com ele.
