My (F16) boyfriend (M17) is the sterotypical bad boy and messes around with substances sometimes. As a condition for dating I told him he needed to quit everything but weed. Iāve caught him drinking alcohol though and weāve had arguments.
Honestly, our relationship isnāt doing well. But Iām scared heās going to kill himself if we break up. Heās not well.
The other day we went to hangout with his friends. I was feeling anxious because I nearly choked to death earlier (a whole other story). He made us tea. Iām not a tea drinker typically but he was really pushing it to me. He said itās chamomile and will help me chill. This is a red flag but I didnāt see it at the time.
I drank the tea and it tasted good and I tried to relax. After like 15 minutes I noticed it was working. I felt really chill and was able to enjoy my time better. I had a little bit where I was really feeling good. But then I realized it felt unnatural for an herbal tea and started to worry.
It was so strange. My brain could worry, but my body couldnāt. I couldnāt get the scary thoughts to actually come together in my brain. Eventually I asked for help, telling someone I felt really off. My boyfriend came to my side, asking if I was okay. I felt like I wasnāt real and like he was a maniquin doll and that worried me.
He put on some TV and an entire hour flew by in what felt like 5 minutes. I was concerned how quickly time was moving. He told me to just chill.
A little while later I noticed we were alone and didnāt remember everyone leaving. He carries me to the bed and I fell asleep really quickly. I donāt think anything happened because I donāt feel like I had sex.
I woke up this morning very confused. I left his friends house and I yelled at him and blocked him. Iām convinced he drugged me. Then he showed up at my house to get my parents involved. He said I was slandering him and accused him of drugging me. That was embarrassing.
He then asked for them to take me to the hospital to test me for drugs to prove he was innocent, but my parents didnāt do that. They asked for him to leave and then sat me down to talk about it. Since I was so unsure and since I knew we didnāt have sex my parents said we should drop it.
Later on I got a ārandomā lecture about how a rape accusation can ruin a boys life and how if I genuinely think I was raped I should get a rape kit. I got mad, and they pulled the āIām just talking out loud Iām not talking to youā card.
It feels like everyoneās against me and no one believes me.

I'm currently in a 12 month lease, and I'm absolutely miserable in it, due to my roommates mother being caught in my private rooms, among other breaches of privacy. The landlord has made attempts to mitigate this, but not much has been achieved. I was wondering if anyone had any advice. First, the lease has a section titled early termination, and it says there are no early terminations. However, I am perfectly willing and able to forfeit the rest of the lease rent + security deposit. Could I be taken to court? Or could the landlord refuse?

2025.01.31 03:01 JoshSiegelGuitar Help Request: My Uploads Cannot Generate Subtitles or Transcript (including 3rd party apps)
Hey guys! Any advice is much appreciated! I'm kinda new to uploading to YouTube.
I have about 20 videos of a music class I teach. I was recommended to use ChatGPT to generate high quality titles and descriptions. It worked great on my first try. I just uploaded that class video to Youtube like I normally do and it had "Show Transcript" in the description.
However it has failed on every upload since. I also cannot get a transcription generated through any online apps. They all say "unavailable on this video because author did not provide captions" (which was what I was hoping the apps could do).
I was recommended the Glasp Youtube Summary Chrome Extension and it worked on the first video I tried but now is grayed out on any new tries with it.
The only auto generated transcript trick that works is to play the video and have Zoom open with caption creation on. The AI of Zoom can easily detect the words I'm saying but the issue is that it requires letting the video play in real time and it's a super long process.
Has anyone figured out a way to have Youtube autogenerate a transcript?
Unfortunately none of the Google answers work for me.

2025.01.31 03:01 cowsaysmoo51 PC takes nearly a minute to boot despite using an m.2 drive, fast boot, etc...
Specifically, when I power on my PC it takes a few seconds for my right monitor to come on, but it only displays a black screen with a single white underscore at the top left of the screen. This lasts for about 30-40 seconds, at which point the system ACTUALLY starts to boot and it gives me the option to open my BIOS settings and whatnot. Once that pops up it only takes a few seconds to boot.
For context, I am running a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Master board with a 5900x and 32gb RAM. I'm also booting off of a Samsung 980 Pro NVMe drive., and have it at the top of my boot order, and I have fast boot enabled (this actually does not change the time it takes to boot at all). Finally, I have already gone through my Task Manager and disabled any unnecessary apps on startup. I just don't know what's causing this random screen with a single underscore to show up.
I feel like I've tried basically everything except updating my BIOS, which I'm hesitant to do because I know that carries some potential risk and I'm not exactly an expert.
Also, and this is not really related, but once my system boots and I get to the lock screen, it takes up to 30 seconds for me to be able to use my keyboard. It sits there unlit for the longest time even though I have G-Hub enabled on startup. Any reason for this?
