This happened like 4.5 years ago I was going out camping with some friends August long weekend. The campsite was like 2.5hrs away from home and on that Friday night drive a birthday hit my windshield (looked back and saw the poor thing up and drop on the ground). Literally that night my mom called and was acting weird nothing out of the norm tho as dhr had issues. I remember talking to her drunk and saying with my friends that night we want to come over to dough gods again cause they are amazing (deep fried bread dough). I think I talked to her for like 2 hours that night out camping and we parted ways and like 10 mins later she called again but I didn't answer this time cause I wasn't just burnt out from her.
Next morning we all have breakfast and head out to the beach and I left my phone back in the tent cause no point of bringing it. I had like 12 messages from my dad and step mom saying calls call call me. My mom passed away that night in her bed next to her husband. She od on her meds.. The toxilogy report confirmed it. Still the saddest day of my life..
When I found out tho I drove home. I hit this bend and this massive moose decided to just cross the road right in front of me. 2 oddly signs within 48 hours still blows my mind to this day

I am a first time self-represented plaintiff in a breach of contract case in small claims for Ontario (go easy on me reddit). I wanted to know what the the consensus is on whether, why and how soon a plaintiff should respond to a defense statement or not at all. What circumstances necessitate a response, amending claim etc, and which one necessitate immediately requesting trial/conference? And can you do both simultaneously?
Background: I received the statement of defense from the opposing counsel and there are a handful of incorrect statements and events presented as facts. Not many but a few inconsistencies and false assertions. Some are contradicted by evidence accepted and some that are contradicted by evidence that I have but did not file in the original claim.
Question 1: Can I respond to the individual statements in the defense statement that I wish to contest and serve my reply on the opposing counsel along with evidence as exhibits? How long do I have for this reply? Can i request the clerk to schedule a conference/trial at the same time to expedite?
Question 2: Should I respond to outright inconsistencies in the defense statement (assertions that out right contradict evidence accepted)?
Question 3 (related): Should I respond to issues raised in the defense that I may not have presented adequately in my own plaintiff’s claim?
For example, opposing counsel has claimed that I have failed to provide “strict proof of damages.” Granted I did not provide a comprehensive breakdown of costs materialized so far and distinguish them from soon to be materialized costs, long term costs and factor in enrichment from the cost of remedy claimed etc. I could have easily done all of the above but kept my original filing simple and to the point.
My question: should I now (a) amend my claim to address the shortcomings raised by the opposing counsel (e.g. provide detailed proof and justification of future of costs) or (b) respond to those shortcomings via a reply or (c) leave this for oral arguments during trial? Thoughts?
- If I should response, is it Form 25A that I must use?

I don’t know why I’m sending it here but I am So I was just thinking what would be a really cool thing to add to the game and it hit me when you die in a car plane truck what ever it is there should be a effect of it not just getting out and laying down here’s a example you and your squad going into city in the legendary 4x4 then your driver gets snipped it would be cool to see the car spinn out of loose control rather then just slowly stop it would be hard but also nice to see different versions based on speed such as full speed you go for longer or really slow where it kind of moves a bit but stops faster this could also introduce a door opening features some thing the doors we already have but for cars I don’t know if it would be you have to open the door to get in or if someone is already inside you have to open the door to heal them which is still better then just falling on the floor another one could be if the gunner died it could fire for one or two seconds after or just suddenly stop the turret might move a bit but they stay in the turret.
on top of this there could be animations for the deaths what I mean is the drivers door falls open and he falls out not just walks out or the driver hunches over.
The gunner could rest on the gun or if it’s a remote controlled gun then he could fall out of the seat or take one from the driver and just hunches over.
Passenger would have no effect other then maybe leave a car door open I was thinking just hunched over for these guys.
How would you heal them? Simple go first person or walk to the doobody if they fall out open the door with the feature I pointed out about being able to open car doors And heal them normally or the weird way heal them through the door
PS. typed this at like midnight so if somethings wrong spelling grammar I really don’t care about all you grammar nerds out there this is just a fun idea.

Title really, there is not much to discuss.
Mods engaged in misinformation and spread even more chaos in a community genuinely starving for news and with an ever growing hate / disdain for the creator (team cherry) of the original game (hollow knight) and its successor (the vaporware known as silksong) in a week where there was / is rumors of doxxing and potential self-harm inflicted because of this community.
It's all fun and games while it's the users, like E1331 rose to "fame" inside the subreddit by silkposting, but with mods being in it, saying stuff like, "oh he truly is more important than you think wink wink" it only helped to aggravate issues present in the sub, who is already delusional, to a whole new level.
At best it's a mid attempt by the mods involved at it, at worst it's in extreme bad taste and a severe lacking in the capacity to learn any lesson.

Hello! We put our first offer in today. I’m feeling uneasy, logically because it’s a huge purchase, our first house, and we be spending money very differently than we have in the past.
The offer was put on a house that was bought last year, and listed this year for only $4000 more than the purchase price according to Zillow.
We live in a HCOL area. Is this a red flag to you? I’m so worried that this is why I feel so uneasy. We offered less than they paid last year, and if they were to accept I would be even MORE worried.

Guys I think I am addicted to... Mathematics. Every time I feel bored, I take out my notebook, book and pen and do math for 4-5 hr. I cannot tell the feeling I get when solving a question, that addicting boost. And a voice, unlike anyone's I have heard. A voice that tells me to proceed, destroy any questions I encounter, and get that dopamine boost. I dream trying invent a way to solve equations like x^2-4x-4... by factorization. One time I got so high, I tried to craft diamond armor in minecraft... using lapis lazuli. One time after doing math for 11 hr, I booted up deltarune instead of undertale and thought "why is my frisk blue?" All my friends hate me [[except 1]] because I love math. I messaged one of my friends instead of myself in whatsapp and thought that even whatsapp has revolted against me doing maths. I think that I cannot get out of this addiction, and I have to live with it.
