Hey everyone! I'm a 4th-year Computer Science student currently searching for an OJT opportunity in game development here in the Philippines.
I came across this website listing game dev companies: GoodFirms. Based on that, I tried visiting the offices of Anino, Altitude Games, and Funguy Studios, only to find out that none of them are at their listed locations anymore. Their websites seem outdated, so I decided to check in person—turns out I was wrong to assume they were still operational. I even stumbled upon a company near Funguy Studios, but it turned out to be a POGO company (honest mistake).
I’ve been passionate about game development ever since I got hooked on playing in computer shops, thinking, "One day, I want to create my own game." That’s why I pursued Computer Science, and now I’m eager to gain real-world experience in the field.
Does anyone know active game dev companies in the Philippines currently accepting OJTs? Any leads or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm a teenager and I swear bad things only happen when I really need to do good. I recently tried for my school's soccer team, and would you look at that! I couldn't finish the tryouts because I have a respiratory infection that just now has to act up! You have a major test? Fuck you! Take this bronchitis! Need to study up? Screw off! Migraines and nausea! Want to work out for an event? Nope! Have some hallucinations. Have a band ensemble concert? Your grandma is hospitalized! (I love my grandma so that one especially stunk :c )
It just feels like bad things can only ever happen when I reply need to push myself... I don't know why.

I'm quite upset, I was completely robbed of the girlhood I deserved as a child. I never got to be a beautiful little flower girl in a wedding, walking down the aisle throwing petals... the crowd smiling and thinking, "oh what a little darling!" I never got to wear adorable easter dresses and sit in Church with my hands folded ever so nicely, or have a beautiful pink bedroom with barbies and cute trinkets adorning the shelves, I never got to be a little ballerina in a weekend/after school class. I was ROBBED. and all because I was born the wrong gender. And that ISN'T MY FAULT!!!!
I am NOT happy right now... I've been in tears off and on all for most of the day.

I love Fallout and Soulsborne) -Horror (don’t know a lot) -Writing (been forever and have nothing to show for it lmao) -The ocean/beach/sea creatures -Drinking (it’s a problem :’) ) -Anime but slightly? Most new ones seem really strange -Not a lot of shows so looking to find interesting ones -Probably more things but if I can’t think of them, they probably aren’t important -Anything you’d like to teach me/try getting me into!
Uhh downsides: -Drinking (definitely a problem) -Emotionally shot (will not elaborate) -Due to my anxiousness/introverted nature, I’m really not big on calling so soon, and despise video calls. Just a heads-up. -Never really doing interesting stuff.

So I found this on f.b. Marketplace for $100.00 as is. Was dusty and in a storage unit for last 2.5 years he told me today when I picked it up. Drove home 1.5 hours away on a guess that hoped it was worth it. Got home, ripped it apart, checked everything, refreshed everything then gave the exterior a 90% fresh cleaning/wipe down. Took it outside, and after 20 pulls, blew smoke out and ran like a gem! My question is, I have a predator generator harbor freight lol, does the same principles apply, wait five minutes before running anything? I feel like this was definitely worth a $100.00

Why are most triimarans side hulls void of storage? All the designs I see are mostly for flooding or have small access ports.
I'm wanting a boat I can go along the PNW coast in somewhere between "roughing it" and "comfortable". A weird position I know.
Trying to stay under 20 feet, dry cabin, place to cook, storage for bush craft tools and the ability to put two motors down and generate power since it's not very sunny.
