I've been looking for multiple answers online but can't find anything clear. I gave my written 60 day notice today to vacate the property as I have been renting month to month for over a year now. The landlords asked me to sign a n11 form but I'm unsure exactly what it is? Am I legally obligated to sign this before I move out? I've never been asked this before by a previous landlord.

2025.01.31 03:06 asking_hyena I had my 10" dob's mirror refigured, here's what I observed
On Jan 24th, I spent the night at my club's dark sky site for some astrophoto and observation : although the night was quite cold (-17c, about 0F), seeing was good and the skies were clear.
I was with a new club member, he does astrophoto only and this was his first time looking at quite a few of these objects : for some of them he was quite surprised to find out they were bright enough to be seen through a telescope without the aid of a camera!
- M42 (Orion nebula) Visible in all it's usually splendor. At 42x, with UHC filter, it shows as a large filamentous "bowl" with a small dark hook at its center, 4 bright stars at the tip of the hook. The bowl is filled with bright, cloudy, filamentous nebulosity. Without UHC filter, then center is slightly colored blue-green. The second part of this nebula (NGC1975) also shows up, dimmer but cloudy filamentous nebulosity is also obvious.
- M45 (pleiades) At perfect focus, it becomes obvious how much larger the brighter members of this cluster are. Compared to light-polluted skies, the dimmer stars are much more numerous.
- M81 / 82 (Bode's galaxies) Very easily seen : we can detect two spiral arms on m81. M82 shows a slightly dimmer perpendicular line at its center.
- M31, M32, M110 (andromeda) Looks very large and it's edges reach almost to m32. I couldn't discern any dust lanes, though that was likely because it was situated in the skies above the nearest city, low enough to get significant light pollution. I have seen the dust lanes before in this telescope under better condition, but not this time.
- M33 (triangulum galaxy) Relatively easy to spot, though there are no details to be seen and no spiral arms present.
- Caldwell 14 (double cluster in perseus) Stars are surprisingly numerous. Hard to describe in words : visually, it just makes you want to sit down and spend some time contemplating the view.
- flame nebula / horsehead nebula Alnitak being so bright, it tends to blow out the dim light of these neighboring nebulas. Still, the flame nebula shows as a low contrast dim disk of light with a darker line running through it, sitting right next to Alnitak. The UHC filter helps detection but shows no more detail. Horsehead nebula is invisible, UHC filter or not. In retrospect, I should have tried with my dual narrowband OIII/Halpha filter.
- California nebula facilement détectible par le fait qu'elle obstrue la lumière des étoiles derrière elle : parait comme une gigantesque colonne sombre par-dessus le fond étoilé de la voie lactée. Easily detectable by the fact it obstructs the light of the innumerable stars of the milky way behind it. The nebula appears as a enormous dim column sitting over and shadowing the rich star field.
- Rosette nebula Similarly to the California nebula, only detectable by the light it obstructs. It shows as a large dark spot hiding the light of stars behind it, except for the open cluster sitting in its center.
- Mars Details were limited by the seeing, though I could see it's polar cap. By sitting there for a couple minutes, I could occasionally make out slightly darker patches on the surface. I was quite excited to see details on mars for the first time, something I never managed to do with this telescope before having it refigured.
- Jupiter Très haut niveau de détail : on y apercevait au moins 4 bandes à formes irrégulières et un bon contraste. on distinguait la différence de couleur entre la dernière bande beige pale au sud de l'équateur, et beige un peu moins pale qui couvre le reste de l'hémipshère sud.
- Mizar and Alkor Very easily distinguishable as a multiple system: mizar appears as a close double, along with its more distant neighbour Alkor.
- Sirius A and B Reddit user TigerInKS taught me the other day that Sirius is actually a double star, it has a dim neutron star next to it with very little separation. This is not easy to observe since Sirius A is among the brightest stars in the whole sky while Sirius B is very very dim : the glare from Sirius A will usually completely swamp out Sirius B. Still, I gave it a go.
I'm very glad to have had my 10" dob's mirror refigured, it showd me things on jupiter and mars that night I could never have seen before, the difference is a lot bigger than I expected.
I'll be back out there this weekend for more astrophoto, more observation and a more thorough observation list : I'll give another report then.

I received a grocery order yesterday and noticed today is the expiration date of the Beyond Meat product, so will have to cook immediately. I'm a little annoyed to receive groceries 1 day before their exp date, and also wonder, is it even safe to eat? Considering requesting a refund. What would others do? Any experience cooking/eating a plant based meat on it's expiration date?

2025.01.31 03:06 penkster I'm an advanced/expert skiier. Should I do a group lesson or a private lesson?
I'm at Sunday River for the week, and I'd relaly like to have someone tell me if I'm doing eveything right. I haven't taken a lesson in a decade or two. I consider myself an expert skiier (in form, if not in strenght) but most of my learning happened 30 years ago, when straight edge skis were king and parallel skiing was The Way.
Now I can carve and my stance has changed, but I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing it right.
Price difference is $100 between private and group lesson - I'm leaning toward a group lesson (assuming they'll break up the group into "wtf are these things" and "you've got this, you're good".
If I'm basically looking for "your stance is good, your spacing is good, shift your weight here, don't plant your poles so hard" - is a group lesson good enough? Looks like private lessons are only on the weekend where it'll be a zoo :(

Need Advice & Support
I’m feeling so stressed and on the verge of tears after receiving a message from my daughter’s daycare today. She attempted to bite five people—three attempts and two actual bites, leaving a mark. This behavior started about three weeks ago, and she’s now attempting to bite almost every other day.
I just started working, and I’m so scared of losing my job if she gets kicked out of daycare. She was diagnosed with level two autism in October and is currently receiving speech and occupational therapy. I’m now looking into behavioral therapy as well.
She currently uses a chew necklace and also carries a spoon with her, but the biting is still happening. If anyone has been through something similar or has resources or advice, please share. I’d really appreciate any help. Thank you!

My 3 month old puppy still barks sometimes when we put her in the crate. But today, she was playing outside and my husband used the vacuum to remove some dust. When she heard the vacuum sound, she got scared and immediately run into the crate and hiding. Is this a sign that she gets used to the crate?

I’m having trouble figuring out why all of the sudden my PC is having 70 degree temps and loud / fast fan spends while just browsing the internet. The cpu temp used to just chill around low Mid 40s to low 50s. And while gaming it would get around 70 ish.
This literally just started these last 3 days. I’m not sure if it was a windows update or what’s going??
I just applied new thermal paste as well and still happening =\ .. PC isn't even a year old yet
My specs are
CPU - Ryzen 7950x3D
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080
AsRock X670E Steel Legend
NZXT Kraken 280 RGB cooler
3 Lian Li Uni 120 Fans + 2 Lian Li Case fans
I’m not too sure what’s going, the fan sounds are honestly becoming annoying how loud they are getting. Hoping someone might be able to give some insight or help.
