This thing is great. It wasn’t cheap by any means, but if I continue reading it’ll save me a lot over time.
Pros: No cinder block size omnibus to wrestle with. Far more comfortable to hold and progress through (no licking fingers for page turning). No reading light required in bed. Easy on eyes. No hunting for deals and wading through reseller hell. Storage/space.
Cons: Book smell and feel gone. $200 up front. Collectocool factor gone. Giving Amazon money. Like digital games, I don’t really own it if it disappears one day. Looking like a hipsteyuppie. lol.

Beat Magnolia last night - both A and B endings - and I've got to say I've been left with an unshakable feeling of "that's it?"
The game places a much larger focus on character and dialogue but does so little with it. None of the characters have any kind of conclusion other than Nola and Lilac.
Lilies had a much narrower narrative element but does so much more with.
Just had to get this off my chest.

I purchased a used sport cub s2 good condition.
When I purchased it the gentleman connected his radio demonstrated all channels and throttle working.
Got it home it will bind , the lights go flashing blue trans announces telemetry but system never moves on and arms no controls no throttle!!!
Any help would be appreciated I’m new to the hobby.
Trans nx8+ Receiver stock for the sport cub 2 batteries are the recommended all plugs have been checked.
I suspect it may think the plane isn’t on level ground but it is.

Appreciate any advice/tips/suggestions/stories to glowup/lookmax. Is there anything I can do to cgane, i try to but 1-2 days I give up, I'm losing all my hope now.
21M here , currently 5'9 , 86kg ,I appear way much older than my age, with a huge belly & thigh fat, huge scalp(finding myself losing strands of hair after bath, on my head sides, entire body tone changed looking more tanned and hairy

hairy body and has quick beard growth , started wearing specs as power increased way to fast(-4 .5) is the power, feels quite lazy & heavy as I had a huge weight gain over the past 7 months ( as I entered corporate and started eating more , especially midnight as it's relaxing only that time ) , more pains on joint and body ,
no physical activity (as I find walking somewhere itself a tiring).. i realised it recently that I changed so much & whenever I get teased/roasted very much by people & my brother can't take me on the back of scooter because of my weight.

2025.01.31 03:11 TheBonesOfAutumn In the winter of 1956, the body of 39-year-old Ora Lee Crutcher was found in an Evansville, Indiana alleyway. Unfortunately very little information is available about her case.
In my research into overlooked cases, I frequently encounter those with minimal documentation. The following case, sadly, falls into this category. Despite extensive searching, I've been unable to locate a single photograph of the victim, a death certificate, or even a gravesite. However, even with the frustrating lack of information, I choose to share these stories here with the hopes of ensuring that the victim’s story is not forgotten.
On the morning of February 12, 1956, at approximately 8:00 a.m., an Evansville, Indiana resident, walking down an alleyway, noticed something unusual nestled between two garages. Upon closer inspection, they made a startling discovery; the body of a deceased woman. The authorities were immediately contacted.
The woman was identified as 39-year-old Ora Lee Crutcher. Her body was discovered in an alley behind 417 East Cherry Street. An autopsy revealed a severe skull fracture on the right side of her head, likely caused by a blow from a piece of timber. She had also sustained a stab wound to her left cheek, a deep cut to her upper lip, and her knees and legs were scraped. While Ora was found nude from the waist down, her half-slip was found held tightly in her hand, pressed against her head wound. According to the coroner’s report, she had not been sexually assaulted.
At the scene, investigators discovered a trail of blood extending approximately 20 feet down the alley. Combined with the injuries to her legs, this led them to theorize that Ora had been murdered elsewhere, and her body subsequently dragged to its final location. Ora’s handbag was found to be missing, however police did recover an open, switchblade-style knife, believed to be the weapon used to stab Ora in the cheek, along with an unidentified set of keys, 21 feet away from her body.
While Ora's official residence was listed elsewhere, 2707 Eloise Ave., her family informed police that she had been living at 650 1/2 East Cherry St. for some time. Despite questioning, neighbors could offer no insight into the circumstances surrounding Ora's death, claiming they neither saw nor heard anything suspicious the previous evening or that morning.
Details regarding Ora's personal life are unfortunately extremely scarce. At the time of her death, Ora was married to a man named Willie Peden. Genealogical records show that Ora became his fourth wife in 1949. Unfortunately, this is the extent of the information I could find regarding their relationship. Census records indicate that Ora resided with her mother and siblings prior to her marriage to Willie. They also revealed that her formal education ended after the first grade. The records failed to list any source of employment for Ora.
Ora was laid to rest in a cemetery located somewhere in Crider, Kentucky, although I could not locate her gravesite.
Tragically, the case quickly went cold. No arrests were ever made, and the murder of Ora Crutcher remains unsolved.
