Seeking advice on how to handle this:
My dad took back 5 items to Costco yesterday and 3 of the items were refunded $5 rather than the full cost. They were worth more than $5 dollars but my dad didn’t realize when he was there what happened. The computer system was down and it was chaos. Today he went back with proof of what the items cost but he was told all he could get back was $5 because it was a different credit card. That wasn’t true and there’s proof on the original receipt about the credit card. Anyway, I realize that the item number on my Costco online receipt is different than what scanned on the return and I believe that’s the problem. Is there any way to correct this? The items totals more than $70 dollars and to only get $5 back for each item is a real shame. If this was the case I would’ve kept the clothing. I plan on going back tomorrow and this will be the third time. Thank you!

I just went to see GREAT GATSBY and apparently, they still used LADIES AND GENTLMEN at the top of Act 2 to announce a last minute midshow Ensemble switch. Any other shows still use LADIES AND GENTLEMEN right now?
I love the HELLO EVERYONE or it goes directly to WELCOME TO (TITLE OF SHOW). Over the years, I gotta tell you, I always jump out of my seat if it starts with the abrupt LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...... right in the middle of a conversation.

Am a Brythonic pagan, not a devotee to one God yet, and not a witch though I dabble in petty warding etc. Hence I was moved last night to do some quick bibliomancy to address a problem I've been having with what seems to be a persistent curse on me. One of several ways I divine for messages.
The first pages I came to (in assorted green witch and local lore books) were to do with the Alder tree, and their connection to wabattlefields, defense structures, and the Giant King. The latter allusion wasn't explained in any detail, though--could anyone fill me in? And explain how it feeds into the relevant Ogham stave?
The Ogam Tract kennings for Fearn are 'vanguard of warriors' per the Morainn mac moín, and 'milk container' (breast/udder? Or jug?) per the ind Óc. I've looked up Fearn online and only found generic cookbook interpretations, drawing spurious links between the moon, roots and shielding.
Why would Brân offer this message? Throughout my journey as a pagan and into my adult life, Brân has been a warm sunny presence in the background. His voice doesn't speak into my existence with ringing clarity, though, and we don't have a close working relationship, so I don't feel I can ask what all this means and get a direct, detailed or instant response.
As a sidebar unrelated to Ogham, my dip into the books also quickly threw me toward references to the mythical or historical uses of thyme (in particular the tea drunk by warriors), and seaweed, So now I'm curious as to whether these plants have any connection to Fearn or to Brân? I know they all grow near and in water...

as te title says, game opens and gets to the title screen without problem but then neither Space or L does anything.
No controllers, tried some things I found on the internet but nothing changes.
Care to say that my system is outdated and does not meet the minimum system requirements completely (mainly the graphics card since I'm using integrated graphics) and I know that might be the problem but Heat was fairly playable and it didn't have this issue, just looking for some suggestions on this but if it doesn't work then I'll just move on lol.

Abt to add abilify to my medical routine (along with Lamotragine 300mg) and I’m RLY nervous abt the side effects. I was on lurasidone a couple years ago and it made me feel so empty and boring and tired and restless and I had NO sex drive. I am in very active and healthy sexual relationship and I really don’t want this to be compromised. It genuinely adds a lot to my life, physically, emotionally, etc. Anyways I guess I’m just asking if ability impacted your sex life if you have been on it. Also worried abt weight gain but less so.

After reading that post about 50something being a lot of AI and OnlyFans posts, I thought I'd post something to talk about. What are you worried about in your 50s?
My two big ones are my health and my parents' health. I know I'm lucky that my parents are still around. My dad is in his 80s, and has some serious health problems. Mom is in her late 70s, and has mobility problems that are exacerbated by obesity and being sedentary. I've suggested she talk to her doctor, and maybe ask for physical therapy to help, but she is reluctant. I also worry about my own health (I'm also obese and sedentary). Watching my parents decline has been a real wake-up call to me. I started losing weight this month, and expect to be on this diet through Spring of next year until I'm down to a healthy BMI.

For my job I regularly have to check ISBNs to verify a book's publication year. I usually use BookWire to search (then other sites if nothing turns up) but on many occasions I have turned up no results on any search platform for ISBNs that publishers swear are active, and I don't know why.
This is pretty common with self-publishers (who are prone to errors) but also happens frequently with big houses like Hachette and Affirm, who will have tonnes of books that turn up results with no issue and then randomly one that does not.
Someone suggested to me that it might be because the book hasn't been published yet but I find books like that regularly. Does anyone know what causes this? Can I advise publishers to prevent it, or is there another way I can check the date attached to the ISBN? (Can't use imprint page).
