I’ve been vegan for about six months, and I thought I was handling it well. But today, sitting in a waiting room, I just about lost it.
Someone walked in with a leather bag from "Meanwhile Back on the Farm," a stupid fucking brand we have in my snobby pretentious town that makes money pretty much solely from slaughtered animals, and I asked how she justifies walking around with cow skin just to carry her phone and snotty tissues (I was much nicer about it then). Her response? "Leather is just a byproduct." NO. THE. F***. IT. ISN’T.
Leather production funds animal agriculture. It’s not just some waste product—it’s a revenue stream that keeps the industry alive. If leather were just an afterthought, its market demand wouldn’t directly impact how many animals are slaughtered. But it does. The industry thrives on it. And people still make excuses. HOW FUCKING ARROGANT
Then there’s the constant reminder everywhere—those “cute” little pig and cow paintings on BBQ restaurant walls, as if the animals were happy to be butchered. Meanwhile, I can almost hear their screams and smell their blood and fear.
On top of all that, I’m in PA school, and every single luncheon, lunch and learn, meeting, etc is solely based on meat. Today we had Chick-fil-A, and it made me want to puke. I feel sick. I can’t even be around my friends because they’re so fucked stupid and can’t comprehend how sinful all of this is. The world just feels so fucked up, and there’s nothing I can do about it.
I use social media to push back against this, to wake people up, but today it feels like too much. But if I delete it, I might come compliant and forget how terrible the industry is and slip back into my old habits of eating meat. How do you cope with the sheer ignorance and cruelty that surrounds us every single day? Because right now, I feel like I can’t. i just fucking can't

I tried to move the fill option to the top of the selection so I only have to click on pouch to fill it while in bank and it won’t let me put the fill option to the top…. There is 2 deposit all options and the one at the top will not go away so I can’t 1 click the pouch to fill it while in the bank. Is that a bug or just poor designing? Think this will be fixed anytime soon?

I mean, seriously, both of these things are all but useless, dying in about five seconds the moment someone shoots at them. The Fujin is the literal poster child of this game but it's absolute trash in its current state. Like... I don't know, turn its shield into an Aegis instead? Everyone and their mother has energy weapons at this point; hell, I'm F2P and I already have a Frozen Dagon with 4 level 10 Magnums, a level 5 Sheriff Magnetar, and a level 5 flamethrower rocket thingy (I forgot the name) that's also energy damage. Right now, the Fujin's shield, the one thing that gives it any semblance of durability, is completely and utterly useless.

2023 had the release of the OMT music video. I'm sure we all remember where we were and how we felt when the video went live. The album dropped. Not sure about you guys, but Anthem 3 as the opener made me feel things. 2024 happened. Alot of us saw them at what is now their peak. That was the most live crowd I've been in. I made homies in the crowd lol. Still can't believe we're here. This band is aging like fine wine.
