Alright, EQ Bank, I’ve had it. Your app is garbage. I can’t even log in half the time. Your EQBankStatus site claims everything’s fine, but surprise, I’m still locked out. And to make matters worse, Google flags your site as insecure—so now I’m supposed to trust my money with you? Sketchy, to say the least.
Let’s talk about that reloadable Mastercard. Who designed this thing? Because I’m pretty sure the goal was to make me feel broker than I am. Limited reload options, and every time I go to the store, I’m stuck reloading the damn thing in line like it’s 2005. Who even thought this was a good idea? Who’s the mastermind behind this? Honestly, the only thing more painful than this card is your customer service.
And the $500 withdrawal limit? Are you serious? Who withdraws less than $500 unless they’re paying for their coffee or grabbing a sandwich? If I’m pulling money out, it’s because I actually have a need for it—not for pocket change.
Now, refunds take forever to post? Are you kidding me? This isn’t a credit card, it’s a debit card. Visa debits are instant, so why am I waiting days for a refund? This is 2025, not the stone age. You’re literally making my day-to-day transactions a hassle.
Sure, you don’t charge NSF fees or FX fees, but everything else about your app is a pain in the ass. I get that you’ve got a decent interest rate, but I can’t deal with this dumpster fire of a banking experience for much longer.
And let’s talk about your lack of a real credit card. Is EQ Bank a bank for youths who don’t know any better or immigrants who don’t have the standards to expect an actual banking product? I’m about one step away from jumping ship. RBC, PC Financial, or KOHO would be more than happy to take me back. Honestly, I’d rather deal with a bank that doesn’t make me feel like I’m using dial-up internet to access my account.
EQ Bank, get your act together. If you want to keep me as a customer, impress me—because right now, you’re one step away from a full-on breakup.

 | I just picked up this beauty on Monday night! This is my 2013 JSW TDI with no options except the DSG. I've put around 170 miles on it already and I'm loving every bit of it! It's at 130,000 miles, it needs a timing belt but that's all. I got it for $7,860 out the door as a one-owner, no accidents car. It replaced my 2013 Camry Hybrid XLE that was this same dark gray color that has 143k on it. I had that Camry since December of 2022 and I put 30k miles on it in that time but I wanted something more exciting and youthful, even though I also have a Fiat 500 that my Mom gave me, it sits on our garage mostly now and is used on weekends. I just turned 19 a couple of weeks ago so I felt that the Camry just isn't right for me, and I've always wanted one of these TDI's so I thought why not buy one of these as a birthday gift to myself. A little late but I love it. I know I'm late and I just started watching fushigi yuugi, but whatever. I just watched episode 20 "Unreachable hope" and I am flabbergasted. We all know that Nakago is the source of utter anger for eveyone who watched the anime and that he lives off manupilating everyone, at this rate I'm reckon that he even manipulated Kutou's emperor somehow. Yui with the words and Tamahome with curse, may he have both in the future but anyway, what I wanted to point to is Tasuki and his fight with Tamahome, amid all the manipulation, heartbreak and despair I just found Tasuki's words so heartouching and manly!!! I failed to spot one person, just ONE who either doesn't run away crying whenever something happens and having 0 I mean 0 self defense and 0 instincts despite being the damn priestess or someone who's not blinded with love in that anime and when I saw Tasuki who stood up for Miaka and I quote "The one who hurt Miaka's arm... Was it you Tamahome *Glares at him*. It was, wasn't it? Not only her arm! What you did.. After she was so looking forward to seeing you again you went and tore her feelings apart! *keeps glaring*. No matter what the reason, I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!! *fighting position enabled* ". I just paused and thought 'That's a man, alright that's the most manly man I've seen SO FAR!!!!!' And not only this, he just kept fighting and fighting even when Nakago appered or when he was knocked out! I'm just.. speechless! I don't know if anyone thinks the same thing as me but I just wanted to put it out there and show how important that whole scene was to me!!! New fictional character crush, here I come!!!
