Hello!
I've had my Roland FP-10 for the past several years, and I've never had a problem with it before. I was playing "Heart and Soul" (the four hand version) with my friend yesterday - where I played the lower two handed part and she played the upper two handed part, then when we both stopped playing, the piano continued playing the lower two-hand part while neither of us were playing or had our hands on the keyboard.
Can the Roland mistakenly record half the keyboard's notes, (just the lower two hands of the song), but not record the upper two hands of the song, and then play those two lower hand's notes back without us asking? We did not have the keyboard connected with the Roland app my iPad on Bluetooth, or anything, and it just started playing the lower two-hands part of the song by itself after my friend and I stopped playing. I never told the keyboard to record me playing, but can it record by itself and play back by itself? And only record and play back half the keyboard's notes???
Seriously, it freaked us out, and I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced things like this? Especially how it only played back half of what was being played on the keyboard - if you know what I mean? (the right hand notes were not played, only the two left hand notes were played back)

I've been fascinated by Scientology for years but have never had any real-life connection to itβuntil today. I found out that the husband of a friend-adjacent has been attending Scientology classes. Heβs had a rough few years, but now he seems to have turned things around and has fully committed to this.
What surprised me is that Scientology is paying for his public transportation to get to the classes. From everything Iβve read, they usually target people who can afford to pay for auditing and other courses. But this guy doesnβt have money to spareβhe wouldnβt even be able to attend if they werenβt covering his transportation.
His wife is supporting the family, and she is not into Scientology, but in her mind, itβs better than what he was involved in before. I suggested to my friend that she might want to tell her to keep her finances separate, just in case, but Iβm wondering if Iβm overreacting.
Does anyone have insight into why they might be covering his transportation? We're all late 40's if that matters.

We've all seen how scarce the stock situation is for the 5090, it doesn't matter which country you are in. Some people are guessing it's the AIBs and Nvidia creating an artificial stock shortage to "create hype" that it's sold out every where so it gives people the FOMO feeling of not being able to buy one on launch. Some are guess AIBs are selling to scalpers, which to an extend is correct, but they aren't scalping the average consumers across the world, but scalping buyers in China.
Now why China? It isn't news that the US has placed export bans regarding selling high-end GPUs to China since a while ago. To make it easier to understand for people who are out of the loop, basically any GPU with the computing power equal or better than the 4090s are prohibited to be exported to China. Same as the A100s and H100s etc. That's why there're 4090d and 5090d models made for the Chinese market, which is a version of GPU that Nvidia intentionally crippled by disabling some cuda and tensor cores.
China reacted to it by buying 4090s from countries like Taiwan, ofc not through official channels. Used 4090s are still being bought with their MSRP price atm in Taiwan by sellers who would then sell them to China. They are basically building their "in house" server GPUs with the chips and vrams from 4090s, this is also the reason why people have gotten "blank" 4090s from Ebay or Facebook, where the chip has been swapped or worst case chip and vram modules are gone.
This is the official store of Jingdong. one of the two largest B2C online store in China. They're blatantly selling the 5090 TUF for ~5500 USD. This isn't sold by a third party seller, this is sold by Jingdong themselves. Now how the hell did they get their hands on a normal 5090 when the US placed export bans to them? Well, I think it's easy to connect the dots now. Especially with this picture. AIBs and Nvidia are basically selling 5090s under the table to Chinese shell companies in Singapore/Taiwan and other SEA countries, which then ships them to China.
Even in Taiwan, the largest consumer pc parts shop "Coolpc" has only gotten around ~30 5090s at launch, all of them are Asus Astral ones.
So no, it's not artificially scarce to hype up and make regular consumers pay more. It's because most of the stock is being sold to China who are basically paying 1.5x~2x the MSRP.

Hi Music Makers! TL;DR in the last paragraph.
I have been using Distrokid for ~3 years after CDBaby started bugging me about not registering my name with a rights organization (email to the tune of over 100 each year!)
Recently one of my tracks got deleted from Spotify because of bot streams, which I think is justified. What I feel is unjustified is that I myself reported the problematic playlist to Spotify (to be fair, Distrokid probably doesn't have this information) so I feel my music got unfairly deleted from Spotify, by Distrokid.
I see that you can just upload the track again with the same ISRC, so I don't think this will be a major problem. As a poor person, I'm just very bummed to have to spend another ~30β¬ for the leave a legacy option β the feature I gladly pay for to have my music be permanently on the platform. I obviously understand that if Distrokid suspects violation of TOS, they need to remove the track even though I paid for the feature. They probably get in a lot more trouble with Spotify regarding botted streams compared to me!
Now as you suspect, this removal made me somewhat angry. I spent 50 hours on a track and they removed it because of someone elses actions! So I started researching how I can get my track back up. Distrokids support bot doesn't seem like a helpful avenue for remediation, so I started Googling the issue and stumbled upon Reddit (as you do).
The company's CEO is here, and I wanted to message him about the issue. Talk about speaking with the manager! I understand this is bad form, but then again, it's just another Reddit account for some guy. But as I checked his account, he actually seems like a cool guy. Old man just making wacky headphones, something I creative I could see myself doing if I was a rich old guy. So now I feel bad because of the actual issue but also because I want to message the guy (Unfairly? This was probably an automated action) but he seems too funny to bother for this kind of issue. A kind of issue the guy built a whole corporate infrastructure around to resolve specifically so he could focus on shareholder management and high level work.
