I’m looking for advice on breaking into an equity analyst role full-time. I interned at a major asset management firm, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive a return offer because I was dealing with a difficult personal situation that summer—one of my family members was sick, and I got really sidetracked.
Since then, I’ve been struggling to land a full-time role despite my efforts. I’ve been staying sharp by working at a student-led investment fund, where I actively analyze markets and help manage a portfolio, and I’m also pursuing a master’s degree in quantitative methods to strengthen my skill set.
Despite all this, I haven’t been able to secure a job, and I’m starting to feel stuck. To keep money coming in, I’ve been substitute teaching and working as a personal trainer, but I’m eager to transition into a full-time investing role. Any advice on where to go from here, how to improve my approach, or overlooked opportunities in the field would be really appreciated.

This was taken many years ago in the morning as my kids were waking up after a backyard campout. My daughter still had her eyes closed on waking up. Or so I thought ... until years later, when I noticed that if you zoom in, you can see her pupils. The shutter just happened to click at the moment she opened her eyes, capturing them both open and shut. The amazing thing is that the shutter speed was fast enough that there's nothing else in the image that shows any motion blur.

How would you guys feel about minigame spotlights?
My suggestion: Every weekend from Friday 12:00 until Monday 12:00 one minigame will be in the spotlight.
Players will receive the same minigame rewards as they usally do + 10%.
This could make minigame a bit more popular and we can have some fun while getting more rewards.
I also think soulwars could be a lot of fun to add to the game.

Working for a company right now that does random drug tests. I got random tested (oral mouth swab) on Tuesday (2 days ago) and will pass for certain. Do you think I am safe smoking a jeeb Friday at noon (I have half days) and then be fine to pass a possible test on Monday? Additionally, are they legally allowed to random me again that quickly ? I know the obvious answer is to just not take the risk, but I really wanna smoke lol. Any thoughts are helpful.
