We are seriously getting our butts kicked over here. Our baby used to wake up 2-3 times per night most nights. All of a sudden it's more like 5 or 6. It's like having a newborn again. Hey! My husband insists on buying my a tennis bracelet for Vday and I’m not going to say no. I am reading that Alex Park is tip top when it comes to lab diamonds.
I browsed his site and am loving the 3-prong tennis bracelets in 18k gold however I have read some mixed reviews and would appreciate if anyone could answer the following questions for me:
- am I able to go see in person to buy the same day or is appointment required?
- do you know if he would shorten the bracelet as I have tiny wrists and most of these bracelets are def too big for me
- does he offer any insurance (like if diamonds were to fall out) or free cleanings

I’ve recently started Don Quixote and I’m loving it. I started it because it felt like the most intimidating book on my shelf and I figured conquering it would give me more confidence to tackle my physical tbr. I thought it would be a chore but I’m flying through it and it’s so funny and engaging.
On one hand, this has boosted my confidence as a reader but on the other I feel like of course I enjoy reading this book that has been beloved for literally hundreds of years. It feels nice to read a great work of literature and be able to understand it and have fun, and I do feel a bit smarter and up my own ass a bit if I’m being honest.
I was curious other people’s thoughts on this. Is it hubris to think I wouldn’t enjoy a classic that had stood the test of time? Do you feel smarter when you are able to enjoy and engage with a classic work or are you not surprised bc it’s usually a work that has engaged readers for decades if not more?

I don’t want to sit and do nothing, and I have a feeling there are A LOT of people who feel the same.
So I want to go do something crazy like sit outside the White House and get people to pay attention and get people to unite against him. I want to change all those people’s minds that voted for him. I don’t think it’s too late yet, but I think it will be if we all don’t start standing up. I hate to think we’re playing the ‘wait and see’ game until we all suffer for our inaction.
Maybe I will go to the White House and sit outside with a sign for the next four years. It sounds better than doing nothing.
