Hey guys, I put together an iPhone app that helps visualize FERS pension values on different retirement dates. It accounts for MRA+10 reductions, special category retirements, sick leave credit, and survivor benefits. It's more of a lightweight quality of life thing to make it easy to see it all plotted out on a graph. There's also an unused sick leave slider which I felt was a great way to visually convey how much service credit various quantities of sick leave can get you.
I made it because I wanted something like this for myself, and figured others might find it useful too.

2025.01.31 04:11 Legitimate-Factor791 Shooting pain in lower jaw near ear into back of my head
32 female 5’9 142 pounds white
2 days ago I started getting random painful sharp zaps in the corner of where my jaw meets my ear. The pain is not triggered by anything specific. Motrin does seem to help it. But I also feel the pain when a piece of my hair tugs at the back of my scalp, its back there too. My neurologist said last year that he thinks my occipital nerves are inflamed based on my complaints of pain when I lie directly on the back of my head. My MRI was totally clean one year ago after that visit. My question- would you see a dentist to rule out tooth/nerve pain (I do have an old filling in my last molar?), a general Dr to ask about TMJ or find a new neurologist (my last one was creepy to me) to see if something new has developed (does this sound like trigeminal neuralgia?)?

Background:
I fostered Grizzy with the intent to adopt last week. He’s my 4th dog in my adult life. The first, Marleau, passed in July. Celly and Chicklet, two little terrier mixes, were the only two for a while. In comes Grizzy. Grizzy is a 45-55 lb husky who is emaciated and from a remote village in Alaska. I was told he was held at animal control (there’s no shelters in this town that he came from) and that he was kenneled a lot. They didn’t know much else except he’s fixed and has almost all shots. Unlike Marleau, he’s high energy but also a lot less stubborn in some ways and easier to train. He seems to listen more quickly. I’ve had some degree of success with potty training him early on. He started poking my hand with his nose when he needed to go out. He stayed with me outside off leash. He has great recall already. Maybe better than Marleau’s, because he will come even if he’s distracted. I make sure I always have treats.
The problem:
Grizzy detests his kennel and won’t tolerate being inside of it. The first night he was here was sleepless for my husband and I. The second night I caved and he’s been sleeping on the floor. No accidents. He has broken out of the kennel both times I’ve left him home alone inside of it. He wasn’t injured either time. He also didn’t bother anything. Then today, I was setting up the camera to find out how he gets out of the kennel. And as I was doing that, he jumped straight onto my bed and peed. Right in front of me. I shewed him off the bed, yanked all the covers off and through jesus and maybe the universe knowing I am about to croak on the spot from anxiety, the mattress was fine.
I literally have no idea what I will do tomorrow when I have to leave the house for a 2 hour appointment. I can’t afford a new mattress. I do have another room in my house but it’s another bedroom and my husband wants to remove the mattress from the bed and have him stay in there. I’m completely overwhelmed. Help. 🙁
