2025.01.31 04:22 Wachvris Is the 1/26 gpu driver update causing me to lose A LOT of FPS in games?
I have a 3080 and normally play on 4K, max settings at 60 fps. However, I’ve been stuck fluctuating between 25-30 fps even after downloading the DLSS mod and lowering the settings the low.
I’ve been trying to find the solution since I’ve been messing with the control panel as well but despite resetting it, nothing works. Anyone else having trouble after the update?

2025.01.31 04:22 pls8ball AITA for calling a friend out on her bad behaviour and foul mouth?
okay context first- I have a group of friends that I'm not that close to anymore for the sole reason that our personal values dont align. however im still cordial with them and we still engage in activities such as online gaming. There's a particular friend- let's call her A, in the group who has a foul mouth and a worse attitude as compared to others. she was a friend from high school but started acting out and became distant in 2021 when she began treating her partner (who's also in the friend group) badly and the rest of us were not a fan of that. A has a history of criticising people and being unable to take jokes. she is also a sore loser and throws tantrums whenever she places last in games, making us lose on purpose out of guilt and to avoid conflict. 2 days ago, on the first day of lunar new year, A sent us a photo of a family and commented that the child was ugly. another person in the group had enough and lashed out at her, saying that she was in no position to criticise people's appearances and he had enough, despite him also being known for commenting on people's appearances. in this case however, I felt that it was very out of pocket of A as she was commenting and hating on a child, someone who is not in control of their looks. All I commented was how the child was not cognisant and that it was not a nice thing to say, and I dont think that I was being mean or harsh. This was my exact statement: "i think to put it better,, the child isnt cognisant? and not in control of her appearance at this point in life. and posting is a nice sentiment to show that their family is growing well over the last few years ◡̈"
A then left the chat group and proceeded to block all of us on all social media platforms.
I personally felt that I had to comment on her criticism especially after our friend lashed out on her because friends are supposed to help each other grow, and we should not be enabling each others' bad behaviours. I do call the other friends in the group out when they do mean things like comment on people's looks and talk bad about others as well. AITA for wanting my friend to reflect and grow? did I deserve to lose a friendship of close to 7 years like that?

I am 30. I don't mind you being ±3.
I am currently in Hyd but I am ok to relocate. I could move abroad too but am eventually aiming to get back to India in 2-3 years.
I don't mind what caste you are. I prefer you being caste-less. My family is in OBC if that matters.
I don't mind how tall you are as long as you are in my whereabouts. I am 5'8".
I don't mind how much you earn. As long as you can sustain yourself. I earned around 15lpa and can sustain myself.
I'd prefer if you speak Telugu but again, as long as you can communicate effectively, it shouldn't be a big issue. English is likely going to be the major mode of communication if we have different native languages.
I am an atheist. I do like going to temples now and then because I like their sanctity. But religion doesn't inform my decisions (i.e., it doesn't dictate what I eat, wear, do)
I am a nerd. I like board games, DIY, movies, comics, and more importantly, science. I also have physically active hobbies. I play badminton quite regularly. I love to hike and also play cricket once in a while. I'd love to share a hobby with the partner, make it our thing.
I can cook. I can and have lived on my own for quite a while. So, you wouldn't be my maid for sure. Ideally, you'd be someone who shares chores. I cook and you do the dishes or vice versa.
I have had relationships before. I expect you to have had relationships too. It's better off if you did because we are then likely going to be at similar maturity levels.
I pride myself in being progressive. So you'd definitely be my equal. For example, I won't take you on dates. We would go out on dates together. You don't need to take care of my parents. We would be caring for both of our parents.

2025.01.31 04:22 dacarl723 Twenty20 Humboldt Afghani V2 - Day 59F.
Very close to finishing up my fourth grow. This is definitely my best grow so far. Finally starting to get things dialed in, but still room for improvement.
I’m starting to see more ambers show up top. Flowers half way down are getting closer to all cloudy. So, I’ll see what they look like on Sunday and may chop then. The nose I’m getting is sour artificial grape.
I started with two plants in two Earthboxes in my 3x3. They were two completely different phenos. One runty/bushy one, and this one. I vegged for 7 weeks not expecting these to stretch much, but this one is twice(or more) the size of the other one. I got rid of the smaller one because this one took over my tent. Since they had to outcross their original Afghani, I’m assuming this pheno is leaning closer to the Snow-G or Strawberry Blonde? I don’t know, I’m still too new to know what the fuck I’m talking about.
They were started in BAS Light and transplanted in to BAS Dominion Blend. I used other various BAS products throughout the grow and supplemented with Organics Alive Bloom a few times during flower. Overall, a really easy grow, wasn’t fussy about anything.

Its random like as if i dropped something on them but its grey/translucent but still somewhat noticeable.. anyone else find these?
