Therefore, “Jesus Christ” means “Jesus the Anointed One,” or “Jesus the Messiah.” In Bible times, a person was often anointed by having oil poured on his head when he was appointed to a special position of authority. (Leviticus 8: 12; 1 Samuel 16:13) Jesus 3 Jesus appeared to his disciples a number of times throughout his final 40 days on earth. (Read Acts 1:3.) today i asked to reconnect by showering together and while in the shower i made a joke about how much i yap and how my bf jokingly tells me to shut the fuck up everyday and he said something along the lines of well obviously i don’t know how to shut the fuck up and i don’t listen because i continue to yap. this really shocked me because he’s usually super kind except for the daily stfu bc of silly things i say. i went silent, for 4.5 hours. during the 4.5 hours, he at first didn’t realize i was upset and then when he did he said “well am i not allowed to make ANY jokes?” “clearly im not allowed to joke around with you because you’ll take it to heart” and “what, do you want me to apologize or something?” and these three phrases caught me so off guard because it’s so unlike him to be so insensitive of my feelings. he then proceeded to laugh and chuckle while apologizing saying “well SORRY for the joke hurting your feelings” and walked off. a couple hours later he asked me for something and i gave him a blank stare. i texted him the information he needed (he needed help with taxes) and he went away. an hour later he came over looking sad and needing love but i dismissed him and didn’t give him the satisfaction when he put his head in my lap, i just moved away and stayed on my phone. he then proceeded to go to bed and that’s when i really got sad. i then proceeded to do a lot of chores he’s supposed to do including putting our 6 foot long heavy bathmat onto the shower curtain rod. well i slipped and fell in the tub while doing that because im a petite 5’0 woman and he came rushing out of our bedroom asking if i was alright. i didn’t answer i just kept doing the chores he’s supposed to do and he walked away and went back to bed. in the 4.5 hour i went into the bedroom and explained my feelings and he just sat there like a brick wall. when i asked him to respond to everything i said, he said only one sentence. “i didn’t know you were hurt” i was flabbergasted that that was all he had to say and i told him that him spiraling and being in his head about all of this isn’t fair because im the hurt one telling him that he hurt me. i told him if he’s not going to respond im walking away and that’s what i did because he continued to sit there and wallow in his self pity. now im extremely sad sitting on the couch in the living room writing this. what the fuck. my feelings feel so dismissed

Hello I have given up swimming for the most part. It’s because I cannot feel or move my feet. The biggest issue is I’ll get a cut and bloody up my feet really bad and I won’t feel it happening. Water socks/shoes are great and protect your feet. For an able bodied person they work well. However, I cannot move my feet. They just kinda move with gravity and the way the water moves. A normal shoe won’t stay on without my ankle braces. I cannot wear my ankle braces while in the water so I need a shoe that will stay on tightly but won’t come off.

I was on 1mg of ldn for about 3 years and it seemed to lower symptoms for a bit. I'm very sensitive to dosage increase/decrease. I noticed after 3 years that it wasn't helping as much anymore. I then went up .5mg in 2023 and it took 3 to 4 months for me to get used to that dose as I got very sick at first. That dosage increase did seem to help the pain a little bit. Now it's 2025 and I notice at 1.5 mg it's not helping as much anymore. I'm severely inflamed and MCAS seems to be worse. I was thinking about going up by .1mg to see if it helps. Has anyone ever had the issue of getting used to a dose and it not being as effective anymore? And if you so, did a dosage increase seem to be the answer? Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Hi!
I've had braces since 8th grade and 4th year graduating na ako. Minus the pandemic, ang tagal takaga ng treatment kahit may improvements naman. Minsan ilang buwan rin ako di nakakapag-adjust talaga dahil sa academics since super layo rin ng school ko. Afaik wala kami pinirmahan na documents or anything nung Grade 8. I was wondering if okay lang di na ako bumalik and have my braces removed in other clinics? Very inconvenient na kasi for me ://.
For context, may need pa gawin sa ngipin ko such as re-alignment. Yung wisdom tooth ko, di pa rin natatanggal since 8th grade and nakabukas lang while yung wisdom tooth itself hati na pero di pa nakukuha. Super sakit kasi that time and even though marami na antibiotics beforehand, di ko talaga kaya yung sakit and ngilo kaya we had to stop.
Any advice?

Howdy - I learned today that I need to use two slices to form a Vector from an array - was playing with it in the context of some matrix multiplication things for learning (warming up for the semester, ha).
Why can't we just use a single slice such as arr[row_start .. row_start + vector_len]? It has been suggested to me (I forget if it was a google result or Claude) that the single slice's size "isn't comptime known" but that the double notation below is. Is that what's going on? Why can't the compiler see that this is a known length (clearly of length vector_len)?
