Hi I'm asking on behalf of a friend. He wanted to retake o level as private candidate but will not retake science and English.
If his aim is going to poly, his English D7, Chinese A1 and maths is B4, without science what poly courses is he eligible? Any suggestions? As private candidate retaking o level science require lab and he's quite weak in science so do not want to take chance since he may not do well in this subject.
I appreciate if there is any website link where one can find easily the criteria for the course that doesn't require science. Instead of going through every course to check for the entry criteria.

2025.01.31 04:42 Kranpur Doubt with firearms, ammo and track.
Hey everyone, thank you for your help on my previous post about defenses, it helped a lot. Now i'd like to ask another help about my firearms and ammo.
My game is a bit more focused on strategy, and since is a cyber futuristic "post apocalyptic" where people leave the "safe city" to explore i can't just ignore ammo usage.
Currently i'm using the famous "abstract caliber", with ammo being light (pistols and SMG), heavy (ARs, revolvers), precision (snipers), shotgun and energy cells (some specific weapons). At the moment i'm using a more 'realistic' approach with counting each bullet, and automatic weapons shoot in "ROF", with each ROF being 3 bullets (to facilitate) and adding or removing chance to hit, depending if you just wanna hit someone or controling the recoil to "cause more damage". Naturally some weapons have more or less ROF, and even semiauto weapons have some kind of ROF with a different rule (like double tapping with a pistol)
I was liking how it was going, but since i was revising some stuff before the first playtest i found not liking it a bit too much atm (yeah, it happened again). My game is a bit more focused on strategy and such, but i don't really feel that my players need to count each bullet, only tracking magazines and such (they ahve slots for them, with modifications on armor to carry more or less). Anyone have tips or opinions on this?
Problem is, i don't really like using mechanics like degrading dice where you roll dice and if it's 1 you're out of ammo" or some abstract stuff like that, i just want some more compromise between realism and abstraction.
I looked some other systems that deal with this, but they are generally more towards one of the ends.

I will be attending my daughter’s IEP meeting tomorrow. Despite going over my key points, I’m feel underprepared and would appreciate any advice.
I’m naturally someone who is bad at confrontation and constantly struggle with feeling like an inconvenience . The school always puts up a fight and I don’t want to buckle under the pressure. I know it’s important to fight for my baby, so I’m trying to gas myself up. My daughter is in kindergarten and is non speaking for context.
The main points I want to make tomorrow are: 1. the classroom and teacher are not a good fit for my child. 2. the school is not a good fit for our family and presents logistical issues with drop off since I have other school aged children and this school is outside of our neighborhood area. 3. If alternative placement can’t be found closer to home, I need independent study or virtual options. 4. She has become consistently very distressed at drop off and I’m no longer comfortable having her attend this school period .
Any keywords or phrases I can use to keep from deflective rabbit trails they might go on?

I’m a 35m who hasn’t dated much at all in six years outside of my last long term relationship. I’ve been pretty reclusive and working on myself these past years. I feel like I’m at better terms with depression and anxiety than I ever was however the thought of dating stresses me out. I’m worried about being rejected or feeling insecure about myself in regard to private issues. TMI I have mild urinary incontinence from a past medical event. It is not debilitating and I live a pretty much normal day to day life. I don’t use/need diapers at all but use the male equivalent of women’s pads. I’ve made peace with it but the thought of sharing this about myself with a stranger makes me want to crawl into a hole. I was already in a long term relationship when it came to be and I had a solid foundation of love and trust to count on. Im afraid women who don’t know me will be turned off and think less of me. I’ve never been a macho man type but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt my ego and sense of masculinity. I don’t want potential partners to feel that either. Last time I went on a few dates with a girl she wanted to get touchy in the car before I dropped her off and it was awkward as hell. I didn’t want her to feel anything but I didn’t want to reject her either. I kind of brushed it off but I could tell she seemed a little upset that I didn’t reciprocate and move forward with messing around a little. I almost feel it was worse acting insecure in that moment than just moving forward. I don’t know
When should you bring something like this up? Or am I overthinking and shouldn’t? I don’t believe I’d think twice if the shoe were on the other foot. incontinence/pads aren’t necessarily unheard of for women but I know there is a stigma for men.
Also I am and have been seeing a doctor(s) for this so I don’t need medical advise

So, I loved this girl—deeply. Our relationship/friendship was about 2 years, and I gave it everything I had. Treated her like family, always there for her, putting her first. I genuinely thought she felt the same, but she got tangled up in feelings for my so-called friend, made some dumb decisions. We tried to stay friends, but it just hurt too much. Now we’re both not talking anymore.
Here’s the thing: I know she’s not a bad person, and she’s still hurting from all of this too. She’s not as deep in it as me, but I know she still loves me, and I still love her. Hi all,
I’ve recently left Catholicism, a faith I deeply loved for a time, my reason was because being catholic would condemn me to a lifetime of loneliness and that being catholic also meant I believed in a God who deemed me abominable.
I’ve felt the call to the Goddess and Her Arts for quite some time now, but haven’t the courage to ACTUALLY pray to her.
I’ve written rituals and recipes for spell oils yet I’m terrified of actually praying to her, mainly because I’m afraid that I won’t have the same spiritual experiences I had when I was catholic (ex. the Name of Jesus stopping my sleep paralysis almost immediately.. hearing bells and feeling my room shake as I commanded it to end..)
I want to know and to love Hecate and to be a witch but I don’t know how to let go of this awful fear that if i choose this path i’ll be condemned for it, any advice?

This lock has been in the naughty bucket for over a year. It is a Best Lock. Feels like six pins. I can feel spools and at least one serrated. I've tried everything, and haven't made any progress at all. No false sets, no hope at all. I have tried light, medium, and heavy tension from top and bottom. Any ideas?
I have been into locksport for a few years, and consider myself average at picking. Definitely not advanced, but maybe a little better than average. My skills have really improved in the last six months. I have no problems with American 1100's and Master LOTO's. This Best Lock is frustrating. Any advice? Thank you in advance.

 | Dudes getting bigger and bigger! Last I checked he was roughly 14lbs. Does anyone else's BSH like to lay on its back all sprawled out? He seems to be quite the cat. I call him the Humpster because for the past couple months, it's been casual for him to wake my mother up by humping her leg, or he will hump my leg and/or my poor old dog!😂 The dog gets quite irritated, but otherwise they're the best of friends now and get along well. Normal litter boxes are often a bit of a hassle, does anyone have any suggestions on self cleaning litter boxes? Just used this pan a few times and really like it but cooked steaks in it the other day and was left with this difficult grease residue. I tried boiling water in the pan and then trying to scrub brush w a little liquid soap with little success. Any advice please? I read I can use Barkeeper’s Friend on these pans but not my copper wool. I’m a little at a loss as to how to bring this beautiful pan back to its shiny self. Please help.

Vee has elbow/arm crutches here because I adopted a HC from a video I saw where she was originally just a head and her body is built later; I think she’d have trouble walking and dealing with balance so having elbow crutches for support isn’t too far off of an idea even though she’s a robot. 4. The flower on the far right is Sprout, if it isn’t obvious enough. I really like the idea of people drawing younger Sprout as a flower initially. 5. 2013 Swirl Telecaster with a Baritone Neck, Bigsby Bridge, Vibramate mounting plate, saddles, and string spoiler, and killswitch.
2014 Blacktop Telecaster (baritone option but neck swapped with swirl Tele), I believe this is the only telecaster with this pickup configuration and it also has the body contour.
