2025.01.31 04:35 Impressive-Ad-59 Quick question about Castlevania 2, how much of a guide do i need?
Very new to the castlevania genre, picked up the collections after fallin in love with the art for these games, beast castlevania 1, was awesome, loved it, Dracula fight was a lil bit of a drag, but whatever, anyways im moving onto castlevania 2, and im curious, everyone recommends a guide, but im wonder how much of a guide do i need? i dont wanna just follow a step by step list of instructions, that's no fun, i wanna actually play the game, but im definitely gonna need something, cuz goddamn, i played for a bit and was lost as hell
I was thinkin just pulling up a map on google would be enough, but i also heard some stuff about the game requiring some highly specific things that i'd never be able to figure out on my own, so would it be best to just pull up a guide to avoid the headache?, is there a loose guide? that gives good hints without spoiling everything i could use? is it so bad that imma absolutely need a very structured walkthrough in order to make it through in a timely manner? like how bad is it?
I'm worried a super descriptive step by step guide, will take away from the whole point of the game, i like the idea of exploring and talking to villagers and merchants to get information and following leads and such, but i also dont wanna just suffer and waste my time, cuz i got alotta castlevania to play lmao

There are other words other than 'super'. How about 'very' or 'really'? People are really wearing 'super' out. Give it a feckin' rest.

Long story short, I have lost weight doing low carb (50g or less) and maintained that but wanted to get really strict and make 2025 the last year of weight loss so I can move to maintenance.
I've lost 15 pounds and want to lose about 40 more.

2025.01.31 04:35 Gone2DayHereTomorrow Using the yellow RCA cable to a 3.5cm plug for subwoofer.
I have a passive subwoofer (actually a repurposed logitech z623 subwoofer) that I am pairing for an external subwoofer amplifier.
I want to run a cable from an Onkyo amp sub out to the subwoofer amp. The Onkyo sub out is an RCA female type connector and the subwoofer amp is a 3.5mm type connector. I could purchase an RCA to 3.5mm cable but I have a spare female RCA to 3.5mm splitter (I guess you could call it) that I thought I could use; see screenshot. I also have an RCA male to male composite cable that I am currently using for audio with the video connector unused; see screenshot.
Instead of purchasing a cable, I was wondering whether I could connect these two cable together to a achieve a male RCA to 3.5mm cable but use the yellow video cable since the red and white ones are already in used for audio; See screenshot of the two cables connected together.
The red, white and yellow cables on both sets look visually the same, however I'm not sure about internally.
Would this work for a subwoofer or is it too crazy and would never work?

So, I loved this girl—deeply. Our relationship/friendship was about 2 years, and I gave it everything I had. Treated her like family, always there for her, putting her first. I genuinely thought she felt the same, but she got tangled up in feelings for my so-called friend, made some dumb decisions. We tried to stay friends, but it just hurt too much. Now we’re both not talking anymore.
Here’s the thing: I know she’s not a bad person, and she’s still hurting from all of this too. She’s not as deep in it as me, but I know she still loves me, and I still love her. But I’m stuck in this loop—thinking about her all the time. I’ve tried moving on, but it’s hard. She made mistakes, sure, but I can’t forget everything we shared.
So… how do I rewire my mind, stop dwelling on the past, and move forward? I know I can’t stay in this space forever. Anyone been here? How’d you break out of it? Drop your best advice, real talk. I’m ready to shift out of this

Also, i have grown a love from traveling. Parisian cafes and italian pizzas are overrated. i do plan to hitchhike Asia or South America. Still pondering on that.
I read voraciously; Atleast I buy books voraciously. Everything from physics to Stephen king can be found next to my bed. Yeah, i sleep with the books, and i am not shy to admit it hehe..

The other day I found a grown bed bug, it's cast skin, a single egg, and a bite on my foot. I've steamed my whole bed frame and doused it in alcohol several times. I haven't seen any other bugs, bites, cast skins, or eggs but I'm still horrified. How long should I continue spraying everything down and steaming my belongings. I've been infested twice in the past and the thought of being infested again is my worst nightmare
