If I could go back in time and un-enroll myself out of the DHS Leadership and Organizational Management course, I would. I have had a smooth sailing with my education and schooling for the past 8 years, up until this point. Of all my degrees and prior University completion rates and experiences, I’ve never experienced anything like this. Just like a fellow commenter stated in this subreddit 2 days ago, they’re discontinuing the course for a reason. I’ve experienced the most harsh, inconsistent, unrealistic grading ever and so have many of my classmates in my current cohort/class. It’s so bad that I’ve formulated bonds with people I just recently got acquainted with this past month, due to us facing the same hardships!!! We have filed grievances, sent in complaints, contacted our coaches, and ultimately fought long and hard about our experience with unrealistic and harsh grading expectations and inconsistency within the course. When we escalated the problem to higher ups, they only then defended the professor and made us feel incompetent and inferior as if we aren’t soon to be doctors ourselves. A complete joke lol. I so want my time and money back. I’ve been filing and sending in complaints for weeks. Myself along with 2 other students are torn between toughening it out or transferring universities. We are also at the capstone, project level so essentially the “dissertation component” and we’d hate to have to take additional courses when we’re so close to being finished but I will say this and please revisit this very specific post whenever you get to the project part of your flexpath course- do not stop fighting or advocating for yourself. You are not alone. This cohort is ending and they’re no longer accepting new learners for a reason. It’s such a shitty program. 10/10 do not recommend.

It has always bothered me in the sorcerers stone when the troll comes and finds hermione was in the bathroom crying. Harry and Ron go back to warn her of the troll and end up rescuing her. When the professors get there and ask for an explanation hermione interjects and comes up with the fake story of having read about trolls and seeking it out on purpose but good thing the boys came to rescue her… it’s so dumb because the truth would have reflected in the boys much better than her made up lie, and probably not have lead to Gryffindor losing the 5 points for her “searching for a troll” before the boys were rewarded for their heroism… why cover up the fact that she was crying in the bathroom and then the boys remembered her and came to warn her to keep her safe, and when they saw the troll already their they stood and fought?!the scene plays as if hermione is taking the fall for them to make them look good but there was nothing to cover up for she just made herself look bad for no reason? Never made any sense to me and makes me cringe on every rewatch lol am i missing something?
Does this bother anyone else?
Also for those who have also read the book, did it play out like that in the book too?

 | Wife called me at work to say the heat wasn't working, got home and was trying to figure out why my multimeter was reading lower voltages than expected at multiple points through the furnaces instantly circuity. I noticed a second contactor curcuit tucked behind the furnaces internal breakers, shown my flashlight into it and found this. Hvac installer must not have proper tightened this connection when the unit was installed a little over 3 years ago. Thermal cycling of metals can cause a connection that's not thight enough to losses over time and cause a poor connection. Poor connection builds resistance, which creates heat, which over time can degrade the connection further and worsen the resistance until you and up with this. The connection had degraded and had enough resistance that I was reading 80v at a point I expected to see 120v. Disturbing the area around it caused the connection to fully sever.
