For me it’s running I guess. All my worries naturally evaporate. Maybe it’s cause of the focus on breathing and not trying to pass out, the endorphins released after a good run (sometimes it just makes me feel tired) but all my concerns and negative thoughts vanish. Until night time of course. Cause I can’t be content for a full day apparently without overthinking a glance from a boy who probably wouldn’t even consider me because he’s most likely straight as a sign of hopeless reciprocal feeling. Stupid hormones aside, is there anything my fellow gays here do to clear their mind?

I'm 27 years old, Singaporean male. Basically I got lucky trading US stocks during the covid pandemic and made my initial capital from there. Afterwards, I continued trading US stocks and slowly grew my capital over the years, although the growth was not as drastic as during the pandemic times. Ever since graduating from University, I also have been working in a stable, office job and my salary has slowly increased over the years to around 60,000-70,000 per annum now. Currently I work my day job then trade US stocks from premarket to night time.
Aside from making money, I am trying to balance my life by learning to spend more money to improve my quality of life. I find that if I don't buy luxury items or cars, a lot of things actually don't really require that much money. For example, I am interested in fitness and health. Simple things like walking outside or doing workouts with weights or a pull-up bar at home is free or low-cost. Eating healthy means that I try to eat relatively lesser and don't really splurge on nice restaurants regularly. At this point, the only thing I'm really saving up for is a house, which I feel that at this point I have already secured the downpayment money for when I want to buy one in the future.
I acknowledge that I'm in a privileged and fortunate position, hence I want to ask, if you were in my position, what would you do and how do I not screw up?

I got adjustable BOV installed recently to my 2015 WRX (Auto) it’s a GFB Deceptor Pro II comes with electronic adjustable BOV
After installing this BOV while driving everything seems fine and makes clear whoosh sound however when at Idle/Stop rpm returns to 100-200rpm
Is that common or ok? Even at stop if I rev it, it comes down to 100-200rpm then goes up a bit then returns back 100-200rpm.
Any help will be great.

Older GenZ here and I’m struggling seeing my grandparents obsess over politics. It’s left me feeling pretty disconnected and honestly kinda sad for them.
My grandparents are healthy and in their mid 70s. We’ve always gotten along and been relatively close. But I’ve found myself not wanting to call or go see them as often as before because everything always turns political. They’re retired and spend most of their day at home… every single time without fail the TV is on full blast and of course on Fox News.
I’ve been very clear on my social cues and have flat out said I don’t want to talk about politics, but it’s like my grandma is obsessed. She can’t not talk about it. We’ll go a couple mins with a normal conversation, but she gets bored and bring it’s back there.
I visited today and immediately turned the TV down because I couldn’t hear, and one of the first things my grandma says is if I’ve seen the news and something about Trumps DEI comments. I wasn’t even there for more than 5 mins. After my visit I let myself out and they turned FOX back up to highest volume and just sat there again. They just consume the news all day.
I left feeling kinda sad… like they should go enjoy their life and do something instead of sitting inside listening to constant negativity and hate. They have resources and money to go do whatever they want.
I never remember them being like this before, I was in college away from home Trumps first term, so maybe I just didn’t see it. But I definitely saw it this past year and now more than ever.
It’s just disheartening and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this too.
