I’ve had Guild Wars 1 on my computer for years and never actually made a character and played for longer than 10 minutes. I play a Mesmer in Guild Wars 2 and I see Guild Wars 1 had a Mesmer as well. I am timid about starting Guild Wars 1 because I enjoy so much of the QoL features in GW2 that I’m worried about messing up the standard questing setup. Tips or advice is welcome.

tbh i hope there’s more miles and wraith content together bc i think because of miles’ actions in this game would be really interesting for him to explain how having the mentality of letting villains to die or having that mindset isn’t the way to go especially after what he went through with Li, im not even someone who firmly believes in all that but for the storyline i think it’d be so cool for him to explain that someone so close to him was killed in this kind of attack but he still didn’t resort to killing, even when he was tempted to. it seems like it’d have way more impact on her than everything peter has said. i just hope there’s more of that in the future they’re a pretty good team

My (49f) partner of 10 years (58m) has 4 adult children. During their younger years life was very difficult due to PA of all. He never gave up, he always showed up, was always there financially and still is to this day BUT the oldest girl is her mother's best friend and is extremely hostile and disrespectful even though she's now in her mid 20s!
Mom, briefly has quite a depressed personality, she's angry, volatile, manipulative. There's no need to be. She initiated the divorce, she wanted it. Financially he's always supported, still does with the younger kids at uni (directly to mom). She has her own successful business. She still lives in the marital home which he has signed over to her legally. All sounds like it should have been a perfectly amicable divorce. My partner provides one kid with a full time job and still pays for car costs, tickets to events, insurances, holidays, dinners... You name it!
He's regularly reduced to tears and the point of mental breakdown by this one child. One week, it's 'dad I need new tyres', then it's NC for weeks, no replies to texts/calls and in person will be 'yes, no, fine' etc. So weird and upsetting. How do I help him cope mentally? What he's done for 12 years clearly isn't working. I feel he needs to step back to show her that 'you get what you give' as adults... Otherwise he's enabling the bad behaviour isn't he?
His mental health is being destroyed. But he also fears if he steps back that he won't see her at all. I think personally that she will find a reason to change and will come back.
Does anyone have experience of this persisting into adulthood, stepping back and things changing thereafter? She's not in a vulnerable situation, I feel it's a choice at this point and that's why I feel it has to be worth trying.

Started dating a sweet girl half a year ago, but things didn’t quite work out. We broke up amicably on new years because, mental health wise, we are just a toxic chemical cocktail and we didn’t want to lose the friendship we’d garnered. Suddenly, not a day later, her slew of evil exes are out in force demanding I toss her to them. Ones a dangerous sociopath who wants to carve her up while rping her, and the other just wants to rpe her…consensually 9_9. Now I’m being harassed daily, followed, and threatened. Trying to help get her somewhere safe, but they are persistent and seem to have an endless supply of time and resources to stalk me digitally and physically. I’m tired. And for some god awful reason I have a conscience and can’t just dump her at their mercy and walk away. They’ve hacked phones, emails, various social media, all in an effort to belittle me and try to break me in new ways.
The heck is wrong with people? Why is this so so hard to stop and why are people like this allowed to walk freely? It’s been a month of this, and I’m at my limit. I’ve done everything I possibly can to keep her safe, and in the end it’s possible they’re going to win and she’ll be at the mercy of these psychopaths. What do I do…what can I do? I’m so tired, I just want 8 hours of sleep and to stop feeling like a monster for the decision I’m being forced to make at this point…

Hi everyone, I had bed bugs last year and had them treated in October, I also wasn't using the room they were in for a month before treatment hoping that some of the young ones would die off. I washed everything that was fabric in the room and moved back in after the treatment and everything was fine till a few days ago when I noticed a line of bites that felt very familiar :(
So I'm here to ask is it possible that some adult bedbugs were hibernating due to starving and didn't wake up even though I've been sleeping in here for months? Thank you all
