I (25f) got diagnosed when I was like 6-7, but have only recently begun exploring what all of my diagnoses really mean and how they affect me/how I interact with the world. Idk if it has anything to do with this self discovery journey, but recently, I frequently find myself gaslighting myself into believing that I made it up.. until I realize that I was legit diagnosed, and then I have to remind myself of all of the obviously OCD related symptoms/struggles that I have, but I KEEP going through these cycles despite knowing FULL WELL that I have OCD. It's just these brief little moments, but it's annoying. Classic OCD, I guess! š
TLDR: I'm SO thankful that I have a formal diagnosis, because otherwise, my OCD would successfully talk me out of believing that I have OCD. Can anyone relate? š

Ok, so whatās happening is that when I open the game, I sometimes get this pop up saying āadd Epic friendsā, and then I go to the ācloseā button. After closing the pop up, it takes a while for it to pop up again, because then Iād open up the game the subsequent days(after being done playing and then playing the next day or some other time), and the pop up doesnāt appear, so it seems to not pop up every time I open the game. Thereās no option inside of Settings for preventing this pop up to never appear again.
This is very annoying as I donāt usually play with friends, and I donāt have Epic friends.

So you didn't kill all 4 Survivors. You didn't escape that Trial even when you had 1 Gen left...
...who the hell cares?
I feel like this game gets ruined by people simply playing to """win""", and that really bums me out. Having all the Survivors switch to Toolboxes/BNPs or the Killer tunneling your teammate out at 5 Gens all just feel like scummy "power moves" people engage with just so they can "win".
I personally don't care if I don't make it out the Exit Gates, or if 1 or 2 Survivors teabag me and escape. The fun in the game for me is the Chases, the suspense of hiding, the fun of avoiding powers and abilities and beating your last personal record.

Here's a situation. I've got 15k cash to spend. I really don't want to get a loan, but if I do get a loan, I want it to be minimal. So really talking max cost at the end of the day of 20K tops, after tax/tag/title. Excellent credit btw.
Really want to find a decent car around 15k. Care more about performance than luxury, which I know is a bit of a joke at this price point, but still. Ideally no more than 70k miles on a car. Ideally something from the last 7 years. I'm not a car guy so I'm totally lost.
Sedan or SUV probably.
Anyone got any tips? Been looking at a bmw x1 with 80k miles for about 15.5k but just don't know if that's a good idea given the high yearly maintenance cost. Would love a nice driving car but I'm pretty limited on money.

Iām not proud to admit this, but for years, I was a cheater. Over the span of about four years, I cheated on my wife with hundreds of women, probably around 1 in every 5 days on average. Iāve had sex over 1,500 times, and somehow, I never got caught.
Iām not sharing this to justify my actions or seek forgiveness. Iām writing this because I know there are others out there who are stuck in the same cycle - wanting to stop but struggling with the urge to cheat. If thatās you, I hope my experience helps.
The main reason why I cheated was simple: BOOB obsession. I cared way too much about BOOBs. Watching my wifeās BOOB drop over the years felt unbearable, and I would justify cheating by telling myself that our marriage was just bad and that I ādeservedā to cheat because my wifeās BOOBs were not level.
Another reason was frustration with aggressive sex. When my wife role-played aggressively with me, I sometimes felt like she was trying to bully me in bed. I wanted to āteach her a lessonā by proving that her aggression would come at a price. Looking back, this mindset was completely irrational, but at the time, it felt like a valid excuse.
I tried quitting many times but always fell back into the habit. Iād tell myself, āThis will be the last time I cheat,ā but it never was. Eventually, I found a few strategies that actually worked:
- I stopped looking at womenās BOOBs for a while. Removing the BOOB pressure made it much easier to resist the urge to cheat.
- I bang inflatable dolls after my wife bullies me. Being bullied multiple days in a row is a big trigger for me, so instead of cheating to āfixā my mood, I use dolls just to get an easy win and reset mentally. I know itās not great for improvement, but it helps me stop feeling like garbage after my wife spanks me like a puppy.
- I got a new girlfriend. This might be controversial, but it helped me a lot. I was terrified of my wifeās dropping BOOBs, so I started meeting with a young girl whose BOOBs were like 100%. Once I get a good view of her BOOBs, I feel confident enough to return to my wife.
- I shove a bishop up my a** immediately when I feel the urge to cheat. The moment I notice the temptation, I reach for the bishop instantly. Itās much easier to plug it in a second than to resist the urge for an entire day.
- I remind myself that my wife is a real person. Just like me, she doesnāt like being treated unfairly. Keeping that in mind helped shift my perspective.
If youāre someone whoās struggling with this, I hope my experience gives you some hope. It is possible to stop, you just need to find strategies that work for you.

2025.02.01 18:52 Paracelsus-VonBaer OptiPlex 7020 SFF Plus getting warm.
Any suggestions on how to increase air flow on a 7020 SFF Plus? The PC has an i7-14700 and Iām pretty sure it pulls a lot of power. It also has the NVIDIA Quadro T1000 card and notice the whole chassis on one side feels really warm to the touch. This PC isnāt used for gaming at all, mainly use it for CAD and SolidWorks. Would adding a front fan help at all to push hot air out? Do I need a Y-Splitter? Will I get a Post error if itās not a Dell approved fan? Any suggestions are appreciated!
