Have Curse of Death running on my mainland right now, wanted to try to find 2 cats so I can unlock the Kitten and Old Cat cards. Problem is, finding the cats to begin with is annoying. Worked out how to get 2 wolves at about the same time, just not sure about where I could try to find 2 cats fast enough that the first one won't die before I find the second.

I am completely uneducated on finance so maybe I am wrong. But I look at this entire administrative coup and I see only one thing: The ultra rich getting richer and gobbling up all the real estate in the USA turning us in to a nation of renters.
Trump just slapped 25% tariffs in Canada and Mexico.
What do we import from Mexico? FOOD.
What do we import from Canada? FOOD and LUMBER.
Trump wants to deport the immigrant labor force who are builds houses, produces, picks and prepares food.
Who benefits from this MAGA plan?
Only the ultra wealthy. Only the 1%.
If our expendable cash is being spent mostly on feeding our families after the price of food sky rockets we will have little left over for savings and large purchases.
If it becomes very expensive to build new houses, construction slows. We have less housing stock making the price of existing real estate go up.
If construction becomes very expensive to build, who can afford to build new housing?
To me it looks like only the 1% of the most wealthy and rich corporations will be able to buy real estate.
Effectively, it seems to me that we are all about to become a nation of renters in a massive corporate land grab that will mostly only benefit the mega rich who will be able to weather the massive inflation that’s about to hit us.

I get how he can be beneficial, but people, you can’t be like “Mello kill this person!” You’ll lose. Or when Mello is randomly killing every day, that’s becoming more harmful than beneficial. You have less people on your team if he’s not getting the right people.

2025.02.01 19:54 TroppyPop My Hope for the Goats
This might be an unpopular opinion, but my hope for Mammalians/The Goats is that they are:
Nothing. I hope they are nothing. Hear me out.
For me, the goats are the part of Severance that is starting to feel "weird for weird's sake." This whole section of the plot is ALMOST too much for me. So, it would honestly delight me if, once a season, we just visited Mammalians Nurturable, saw stranger and more intense imagery each time, then just never got an explanation.
I know this is unlikely; everything about Severance is SO intentional and planned. I just remember the elder millennial era of "random" humor- monkeys, bacon, roflcopters, etc. Nothing would be funnier to me than if the goats were just left alone. "Weird for weird's sake" succeeds ONLY if it stays that way, and leaving well enough alone so requires SUCH discipline.
I don't know if this is a thing, but I'm team "let the goats be nothing." Let's unravel a hundred mysteries everywhere else, but not this one. For me, a permanent mystery is an incredible choice, especially if it leaves us Redditors tying ourselves in knots forever. Peak comedy.

Tem uma moca que vai no mesmo horário na academia que eu e que minha mãe, junto com sua filha. Ela disse pra minha mãe que a filha tava interessada em mim, e que ela até quis me convidar pro aniversário da prima, mas não convidou pq teve vergonha.
Ok, minha mãe passou meu contato e Instagram. Daí ela pediu pra me seguir, e fui falando com ela por um tempo, até combinar de ir pra academia juntos no sábado, umas 9h. Sei que existem outras maneiras de sair, mas também sei que ela trabalha numa hamburgueria (onde a mãe é dona), então fica complicado arrumar algum horário bom pra sair.
De qualquer forma ela não conseguiu ir, pq chegou tarde do trabalho. Faz sentido, então disse a ela que fico na cidade até um tempo, e quando ela tiver disponível pra sair que me avisasse. Posso estar endoidando, mas acho estranho a "volatilidade" do interesse dela. Na quinta quando eu falei ela respondeu bem rápido, hoje nem tanto. E sei que ela tem problemas sérios com o pai.
Não sei o que faço. Não posso insistir muito, até porque ela também tem que demonstrar algum nível de interesse. Também não posso ficar sem falar nada, porque sei que mulheres tem o costume de esperar atitude do homem. Eai, tem alguma dica?
