Any advice appreciated please! I’ve had chronic endometriosis symptoms but my laparoscopy this week came back clear of endo. I had a 3x3xm cyst which they removed (have a history of PCOS) but they said that this ‘shouldn’t have caused any pain’. I feel a mixture of confusion and anxiety about the results and what could be going on and to be honest I felt embarrassed when they gave me the results and felt worried that I’d wasted everyone’s time. The symptoms I have include: Painful periods which can involve dizziness and feeling like I’m going to faint Pain during intercourse Chronic pelvic pressure and pain, including in my lower right side. I also have some bowel symptoms such as very painful pelvic pain when needing to go and pain during bowel movements including dizziness (especially when on my period) and also ‘butt lightening’ if you know what I mean.. Recently have also noticed bleeding from back door which my doctor has checked and done tests for which were clear and advised to wait for laparoscopy incase it was endo related. I now feel like I’m stuck and have no answers, following my recent laparoscopy and would appreciate hearing if anyone has had similar experiences or any suggestions?

To me it's totally worth all of the trolling in order to reach people who might not have otherwise have heard your message. There's a lot of stereotypes & misconceptions in regards to veganism out there and I'm here to smash them! The fact is fitness is a great way to reach people on social media and there's a huge segment of the population who truly believe it's not possible to gain muscle on a plant-based diet. I find when people understand that it's possible they're much more open to the concept. That's when conversations about health, sustainability and animal welfare come into play. At the end of the day, regardless of how much we disagree with another person, it is the relationships that we cultivate with others that will elicit change, knowledge is power in this regard. 2025.02.01 20:51 Rumorly Cat is gagging 1-2 an hour since yesterday evening
My cat, Tali 4F, has been gagging on and off since yesterday evening. She is still eating and drinking water.
I did give her a couple new treats yesterday, 1 was a pill pocket as I needed to give her a dewormer (my other cat has worms so treating Tali just in case). Plus another limited ingredient one just as a special treat. The gagging started 5-6 hours later.
Her eating has already been limited as she is stressed over the fact that I got a new kitten. I have been giving her feline de-stress (not sure if it’s a thing outside of Canada) as
I’ve realized she actually has anxiety but the kitten just pushed her too far. Initially she was doing better than before I brought the kitten home. But since I took her to the vet on Tuesday (pill wasn’t available then and I had to go back to get it yesterday) she’s been a bit more tired and not eating as well.
How concerning is this?

A bit of context.
There is a waitress that works at a pub near where I live that I want to ask out, the problem is that the only time I go is when when I'm with friends or family and she seems to be a backup waitress if the main one is busy with other customers (its a small pub so she almost never is) so I have neither the chance nor reason to talk to her. We have exchanged glances a few times but nothing further then that.
My real question is, would it be inappropriate to to go at a time that she is free, order a drink, strike up a conversation (she stands next to the bar so I could talk to her right after ordering) and ask her out to get to know her a bit? if it's not, what should I say to get the conversation started?

I (39f) live in Denmark (I'm danish), and after years of dating emotionally unavailable or incompatible people, manipulative, or just not truly invested, I’ve become very clear on what I want. Ironically, I recently dated someone who was everything I wanted—intelligent, deep-thinking, emotionally aware, and someone I connected with on every level. But it didn’t work out because, despite everything we had, he wasn’t emotionally available for a relationship. Which I'm still very heart broken about. However, that experience opened my eyes and made me realize I can’t settle for less than that feeling of safety, honesty and calm it gave me.
But honestly? I feel somewhat hopeless about finding someone like that again, since I've never met anyone like that before. Modern dating feels exhausting and transactional, and I struggle with how people approach relationships today. I don’t expect perfection—just a real, meaningful connection with someone who shares my values and outlook on life.
At the core, I want a relationship that feels fulfilling, fun, and balanced - where we enjoy life together while still having space for individuality. I’m also a romantic at heart - my love languages are touch, quality time, and pampering (giving and receiving). I don’t expect princess treatment, just a partner who values affection, closeness, and making each other feel appreciated.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
Emotionally available & ready for commitment - I want a partner who is open to deep emotional connection, not someone afraid of feelings or avoiding real intimacy. If someone isn’t emotionally present in a relationship, I know from experience that it won’t work for me.

Does this sound impossible to find? Are there men who want something similar, or am I asking for too much? I know this kind of person exists because I met one—but finding someone who is also emotionally available was apparently to much to ask.

I’ve posted here a few times, but I just can’t believe how long this application process is taking.
I am a dentist and applied as a 63A (General Dentist). My first visit to the AMEDD recruiting station was in May 2024. I did not complete my fingerprints that same day, and when I asked how long the application process would take, the recruiter said, "It depends on you." He told me that if I submitted everything in a timely manner, it would take 2–3 months.
By the end of June, I had submitted all of my paperwork, including recommendation letters, my diploma, and my personal statement. I also requested to complete my MEPS physical in early July.
After a long wait, I was finally able to go to MEPS by the end of August. Although I needed a few waivers, the process was completed, and I signed my contract, which was then sent up the chain of command.
Soon after, I lost my job because the Army sent a character reference request to my employer, making it clear that I would be leaving soon.
Fast forward to today: my recruiter says my application is still at the HSD SPRVSR level for approval, and because they are so backed up, it will take a while to receive final approval.
It has now been nine months. I have no job, and I can’t realistically apply for another position because the Army's credentialing process can take another 1–2 months.
Was the military always this inefficient? I can’t believe I’ve been waiting 9 months and still have no resolution. The military really needs DOGE to step in, in my opinion.
