Recently I was going through my old Reddit posts, y’know just relooking at all my shitposts and semi-valid posts, and I stumbled upon a video I posted talking about how sometimes nothing is worse than seeing a bad bitch you're not ready for just yet. Man did that hit me cause I'm dead going through that exact thing now. In that video he said you have 1 of 3 choices. One being you can try your hand but if shit works out and she’s really fucking with you, you’re really just wasting her time and that’s more than likely the end of that situation and getting another shot is low. The second option being plant the seed and taking proper shots when needed. Y’know seeds grow over time n shit. Third option being charge it to the game and keep it pushing. I fear I’ve already been given the second option, which is not a problem, I just feel the waiting game friend route is gonna take a mental fortitude to do. Especially if I get to the point where I been there long enough and I end up realizing shorty personality just not even worth it for real. Welp… it’s either that or charging it to the game. Tk if I send you some info would you tell me if it’s worth it?

2025.02.01 22:50 Hateful-Individual I'm having a very long debate with my best friend about the game. Is the game too easy in your opinion ?
I'm not sure if the mods here will allow it as I think the point of the sub is to avoid complaining, but I really want you guys PoV
Basically, I'm saying that the game is absolutely boring and way too easy if 4 people, in a voice channel, with good weapons, plays together. Nothing can stand in the way of a great squad. And, I believe, it's a bad thing for a game with 10 difficulties to have this. Max difficulty should be hard for any squad, no matter their loadout and skills
While is he saying, I think, that the game shouldn't be hard as it isn't a game meant to be difficult. Also, is he pointing out that making Super Helldive difficulty harder would definitely make the casual part of the community angry, and it would immediately start a small review bombing.
It's been a long debate lol
What do you guys think ? Should the game be harder with 7-10 difficulties or keep it that way ? Or... I don't know, maybe you think the game is too hard ?

So I'm certain a lot of us here and know what's going on in the US currently and the fear surrounding the destruction of data in order to control narrative. I'm not new to language models and their capabilities but I wanted to see what people's thoughts are in terms of language models acting as archives in and of themselves?
Since most models have a finite set of training data specifically cut off at particular times do you think they'd be a reliable resource when it comes to wanting to verify information that from here on out may no longer be accessible? I guess what I'm getting at is with the current level of data hoarding that's going on would existing models still need to be fine-tuned specifically with this captured data?

2025.02.01 22:50 L8Donnie I came up with an Idea for a Poppy Playtime spin off game let me know what you think? (I also included my Idea for the first Chapter)
Plot: the Playtime Co. Toy Factory has been scheduled for demolition so Leith Pierre has hired a team of Resource Extraction Specialists to go into the factory to recover as many "Assets" as they can before the factory's demolition.
Characters:
Leith: he has a similar role to Ollie in chapter 3 that being a voice in the players ear instructing them and guiding them through the factory.
The Player: Some bum off the street that Leith hired for this job they where promised 5 dollars and given NO info about this job
Maggie Mako: She's kind of like a shop keeper. you can find candy throughout the factory and give it to her and in exchange she'll give the player useful items such as Medkits, and even VHS tapes. you can also ask her questions to get additional lore and to get info on her relationship with other character like Poppy for example.
Unique Mechanics:
Traps: These Traps can be used to easily trap smaller toys like the Mini-Huggy's from Chapter 2.
Cyan Hand: the Cyan hand works similarly to the Orange hand but instead of shooting flares this one shoots Tranquilizer Darts which can be use to take down Medium sized and Bogger Bodies toys witch are to big for the traps. Though the darts can put medium sized toys like Bunzo to sleep normally in order to take down Bigger Bodys like Huggy you have to trick them into eating a lot of the tranquillizer darts at once.
CHAPTER 1: First Day on The Job
In chapter on the Player arrives at the factory 30 Minutes late and when they arrive there entire team has been mascaraed. Leith immediately assumes that it is Huggy's doing (Spoiler alert he's wrong). Leith has the player investigate the gift shop first and to the two's surprise they find two of the Mini-Huggy's from the Game Station(The only two to escape Mommy's wrath). Leith give the player a tutorial on how to capture smaller toys like them. Explaining that he can use traps to capture smaller toys like the Mini-Huggy's.
After successfully capturing the two small toys the Player continues into Huggy's old room and to Leith's confutation Huggy is nowhere to be seen and the Cafeteria and Theater doors where both forced open. The Player goes to the cafeteria first and meets Maggie for the first time and she gives the Player a Cyan Grabpack hand. Maggie then warns the Player that another Bigger Body came up into Huggy's old territory after his fall and has set up shop in the theater and suggests the Player just leave. However Leith forces them to go into the Theater room to capture this mysterious Bigger Body.
So the Player continues into the theater where they encounter Allister Gator lazily sleeping on the theater stage after Leith accidently wakes him up (like a dumbass) Allister runs away back stage. The Player must complete a Puzzle that involves filling an old corpse with Tranquilizer and then dragging said corpse to stage and filling it with tranquilizers Allister eats it and is quickly put to sleep.
The chapter ends with the player loading the captured experiments into Asset Containers similar to the ones we see in chapter 4 and Leith telling the Player that there next stop is the Game Station.

2025.02.01 22:50 gmcconch Do I need a diesel?
Hey all! Just looking for some honest advice here. I am getting into disaster relief work long term. This will entail all you’d imagine… towing trailers with building materials and/or debris. Refilling and hauling 500-1000gallon water containers, getting cars out of sticky spots, potentially pulling a gooseneck RV (family to come along with me), etc etc.
Im looking at a GMC 2500 (we’re a GM family). I personally don’t think I need more than a 2500, but welcome to advice on that.
With that - the 2500 comes in both gas and diesel options, so I was wondering if the diesel engine would have more benefits than gas? Or is gas the better choice?
I know this post is already long, but if you’re still reading (thank you), another consideration is the potential struggle to get diesel in heavily hit areas.
I appreciate any advice or help!
