I got my Nexplanon replaced in May after 5 years with my first one which had stopped working mid April (had insurance issues so I had to wait until last minute). My first 5 years I never got a period except for occasional stress spotting. Now I am getting a light period almost every 5-6 weeks but this month it is SO BAD. I mean 2-3 pads a day bad. I went on nexplanon because of periods like this.
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a change in menstruation after more than 5 years/new implant?

 | looking to seal my drive way approx 4,200 ft2 of concrete consisting of probably 3 different pours, the main pour and probably the oldest is a exposed aggregate which looks to be in pretty good shape, the other two and just simple broom finish, one area where the car is parked in the picture is a more yellow, in alright shape and the other broom area looks newer but is in bad shape and cracking and sinking in a lot of places, I was debating on wet look sealant on the entire area but what do yall think, and what brand is the buisness grade sealant, I got some cheap stuff from hd at my old house and it did the job but i wasn’t the biggest fan, also should I do the walkways since they are only on our property and don’t continue into the other yards submitted by No-Suspect1137 to Concrete [link] [comments] |

2025.02.01 21:52 Isanid Game Crashes after 20-30mins repetedly
So i am at my wits end with this one. The game crashes over and over again at about 30min every session without any error code or nothing just blank back to windows, some times more some times less and i have tried every ''fix'' that i have seen out there on simple google searches, verifying files, reinstalling, trying all manner of graphics settings with and without fsr, starting in compatibility mode etc etc. I even went to the length of doing a clean install for windows and still there was nothing. I've gone mad, i started running hardware checks and found out that one of my RAM sticks was having some sort of problem and i thought ''hey maybe these mismatched ram sticks are running into some sort of problem'' even though they worked great in my last system before i updated mobo and cpu. I ran windows memory diagnostics and look at that there really is and issue. I run the test again with all the different sticks to single out the bad one and feel all happy and confident that i had surely found the problem this time. So the next day i hop skip and skedaddle my ass to a local electronics chain and purchased a new set of DDR4 16x2 sticks and my dumb ass really thought that this time it will really really work.
of course not still the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issue. I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hallucinating that maybe i'm the one crashing and that it is all in my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ head.
At this point i remember that yeah i bought this retarded rock that intel named i5 13600k which whole generation is apparently ridden with micro code issues and yeah sure i ran their stupid little app that gave me all greens yesterday, but then i also remembered that i for some reason thought i could rely on intel and their little rocks for gameing as i have before and that i haven't updated the bios since i bought it in October last year. So i sat my little gleeful ass down and updated my bios thinking that this time i have really solved it but no i was wrong and at this point i really don't know.
Anyway maybe there is something really obvious that i have missed and some of you will point it out. If so please do because at this point i really look forward to being humiliated about how dumb i am and how easy this was to fix all along.
If you need me i'll be making out with the barrel of a gun in the corner over somewhere.

Because it is a professional site, I didn't want to reply to the post. I did write something out though and shared it here for the catharsis part of it. I had my diplomatic voice on, but you can probably imagine how I really felt.
"To say that you accounted for the fringe, and then lump everything else into a "messy middle", passively excoriate the community of professionals who deal with the messy middle, and then say that you've done your due diligence is as gross a broad stroke as this overall poor take of yours is.
People these days love to cry about an erosion of values, particularly because the youngest generations look and feel so much different than the ones we grew up with. It is so satisfying to have righteous anger, isn't it? The truth is, the fringe is a larger population than you can imagine, and it looks far different than you think it does. Abuse, trauma, or tension takes many forms, and everyone responds differently. For those who find themselves making a very difficult choice to going to 'no contact' (after exhausting everything else), we need to respect their own agency, and the fact that they are the ones who are allowed to set the thermostat for what is appropriate from their parents, and what isn't.
This "family values" hot take of yours completely denigrates the lifetime of pain that usually precedes the "no contact" decision. While you like to blame empowered children-turned-adults who choose no contact on "social workers" or a value system that doesn't look like yours, know that the people who break through and reach these children-turned-adults with support are doing a service to society, giving voice to the once mute, and ensuring that trauma isn't doomed to be generational.
Please do better."
