I used mesh analysis for the i1(0-) and got it 0.2mA My problem is in part C. as it mentioned that i1(0-)=i1(0+) and this confused me because from my understanding at that point the voltage at the capacitor should be 10v, since its parallel with the resistor its voltage as well should be 10v. so i1(0+) = V/R= 10/10k=1mA. It is not equal. Is this a problem with the question or am I doing something wrong?

It finally happened to me. My 2019 Miata transmission gave way. I bought it from a private seller with around 24k miles on it and got put an additional 7k miles since then. I was accelerating on first gear and got it up to 3100-3200 rpm, shifted to 2nd and then I heard the crunchiest of noises. I can’t get the transmission into 1st or second. I have some questions for you beautiful people. Is this transmission still under warranty? If not what should I expect costs to look like if I go with an OEM transmission? Should I go with an after market transmission, one that is more resilient, if I want to avoid this from happening again?

so a little story about me
I always knew libertarianism was a real movement and I always knew it had something to do with Ayn Rand but as you're about to read more into this I'm not really a fan I don't hate her or anything I think she was a clever woman in her own white but overall that's not what got me into libertarianism
so as a kid I started reading books what my mom had around the house like howl by Allen Ginsberg
I got a little bit older I started reading about Timothy Larry I started listening to music like the Jefferson Airplane the doors the peanut butter conspiracy Jimi Hendrix you know stuff like that and I got into garage Rock later what I liked about all this stuff was the impetus on freedom
so with all this stuff and my love for all this stuff it makes perfect sense I would be into being a leftist or at least a liberal at best with a progressive Edge right? correct and I was for a while
however the problem was I don't live in 1967 I live in 2025 and by the time I was 20 (am 26 now ) I have noticed some things about the modern left I personally disagree with
look for a sample we used to say things in the left like war is evil War kills people war is even murder and now we say things like more than necessary type of evil that war is good for oil
so yeah I became very disillusioned with the left so much so I even tried to become a conservative for a while going back to my roots because that's what I was raised sort of to be however it just didn't work for me I don't hate conservatives or anything I just generally thought it was boring and it didn't really work for me
so I turned 26 on January 4th and I almost gave up on politics
until I started looking at the libertarian party now like I said before I knew it always has been there but I always thought of it as Ayn Rand Puris however the more I look the more I started to realize libertarianism is actually a pretty broad party
there's capitalist Libertarians their socialist Libertarians there's even if you look really hard enough there's communist Libertarians very Broad and I came to find out at the more I look Libertarians actually do have similarities to the 60s counterculture movement in the sense that both of them are against War both of them are for pro drugs and pro sex experimentation just as long as it's consensual
from that day forward I Sergeant I am a progressive libertarian

I have an updated gentoo system where Windows 11 guest (additions are at 7.1.6 as well) works fine as long as 3D Acceleration is not enabled.
As soon as 3D Acceleration is enabled, Windows guest crashes at startup with a window that appears for a fraction of a second and goes away. The crash seems to be because of this:

I’m an undergraduate math student, and my dream is to continue with mathematics, possibly going into research. I love math, and I study it intensely. But despite this, I feel a deep uncertainty about my future as a mathematician - one that I can't shake.
I know how to learn math, how to read books, how to solve problems and exercises that others have posed. But what I don’t understand is how to think mathematically in a way that leads to actual discovery. How do you transition from absorbing knowledge to contributing something new? Not just solving known problems but coming up with new ways of thinking about them, new approaches?
I worry that I just don’t have what it takes. I see mathematicians who seem to make these great intuitive leaps, and I wonder: Is that something that develops over time, or is it something you either have or don’t?
For those of you who have moved beyond coursework into research, how did you make that transition? Did you feel this same uncertainty? How did you start thinking in a more creative, independent way rather than just learning what was already known?
Any advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated. I'm young, and maybe I'm thinking too far ahead, but this has been weighing on me, and I'd love to hear from those who’ve walked this path before.

Go onto a specific pregnancy sub and you'll see without fail that late term abortions absolutely do happen. I browse it from time to time because sometimes the stories are actually heartfelt and sweet but they are few and in-between the heart breaking ones. The last post I read was of a girl finding out she was pregnant at 30 weeks (don't worry, she's keeping the baby as she is excited just scared and shocked) and while most were congratulating her, others were asking if she's going to keep it or does she need help arranging something. Another commenter mentioned their friend hadn't found out until 30 something weeks as well and decided to abort because she wasn't ready.
Late term abortions happen, and no, there's not always a medical reason to do so and I wish they'd stop trying to freaking gaslight us when they admit to EACH OTHER that they do. All. The. Time.
Sorry for the rant but this fact just makes me sick to my stomach as I'm holding onto my 4 week daughter right now and can't imagine life without her and her older brother anymore.
