Hi everyone,
This has been a months long headache, I appreciate you taking the time to read this!
My girlfriend financed a used car($8,000) in November. During the prepurchase inspection, a number of issues were caught that would need to be repaired immediately, primarily head gasket and control arm, thousands of dollars worth of work.
The dealer said that he would cover the cost of the repairs and a list of all necessary repairs was written on the bill of sale, and initialed by him. The car was at the repair shop for a month, costing her hundreds for a rental car. she was told the work was done but within a couple days, the check engine lights came on. She took her car into our mechanic for inspections and they said that it looked like none of the outlined work had been done. And driving it in its current state likely caused a lot of damage.
Yesterday, she brought the car back to the dealer mechanic with the understanding that they’ll fix it, and picked up the invoice for the original job. The invoice shows some small work was done, but not the work that was outlined on the contract, which likely lead to additional damage.
Ideally she’d be happy walking away from the car, and starting fresh. I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to guide this process. Thank you so much (sorry for formatting, I’m on mobile)

My whole family is sick and now I am. I can’t stop coughing and feel so sick that I can’t even function. I have Uni work to do, I could ask for an extension but I feel bad. Anyway I have a Job on Monday that I have a 9-6pm shift on and well I was off the other week for another illness I had, I’m always ill and she was fumming at me the manager but no way can I do a 9-6pm in this mess. I can’t even function and wanna lay down every 5 seconds. I always attract flu and when I do, it’s extremely bad. Any advice on Uni and Job? Also any way to cure myself?
