Hey all, this is my first post here as I’m fairly new to DCS. I’ve been using the F18 and the Supercarrier for about a month now and I’ve become fairly competent in doing carrier ops. I fly solely single player missions and try to incorporate AI and static objects as much as I can to increase immersion.
This brings us to my main issue at hand. I’ve been using briefing room to generate my missions, and I’ve been trying to use the “spawn carrier-suitable statics” option. The issue is, this has a 50% chance of completely screwing over the taxi behaviors (crash into statics or don’t taxi at all) of my AI wingmen and other AI flights.
So far, I’ve taken a look at Adalla’s dynamic deck’s YT videos and I am completely lost on how to incorporate scripts, triggers, and other behaviors to make this work. I’ve tried manually placing statics for each mission but I’ve found that to be largely time consuming for me when I usually only have time for one mission. And manually placing statics doesn’t fix the AI taxi issues anyway.
So, I’m here to ask if anyone has tips or solutions for this that you’re willing to share.

Just did my first oil change on my 2024 Select Sport. Car has about 800 miles on it, I’m getting ready to take it on a road trip so I wanted to get all of that initial oil out of it. However, I drained about 5.2-3 qts out of the engine. Seems like a lot of oil for an engine that stated to hold 4.7. Has anyone else had this experience? Do they may be overfill it from the factory, figuring that it’s going to burn some oil before the engine breaks in?

Hey I've been using OBS for awhile now but I have never seen this message before. It happens when I start up OBS and sometimes pops up when I switch scenes and I cannot find any info on this. The message reads "audio auto play has been disabled click to enable" but I can't "click" anywhere to make the message go away and this happens on every scene I have. Has anyone ever seen this happen before?

Hello! So I was curious, I've been sticking to my calorie deficit goal of less then 2000 a day (which yes, after asking around this sub and doing some calculation, is a good goal for me.)
This is probably a silly question, and I plan on slowly incorporating more and more healthy foods into my diet.
But, as long as I'm below my goal, does it really matter what I eat? I mean in a losing weight sense?
Already I've started to eat more proteins like boiled eggs and tuna in order to feel more full, but sometimes I'll eat a whole box of macaroni and nothing else for the rest of the day, since it's high in calories.
Will this affect things negatively? If so I'll begin to course correct.
