There’s a tape recorded during the hour of Joy where the prison warden of an unknown name gives Sawyer the omnihand to get out of the factory “safe and sound”
It’s far fetched but potentially Sawyer just didn’t recognize the Warden after so long of something else that wouldn’t enable the doctor to remember him
Some people think that P.W the owner of the journal is the player, but we don’t know the Wardens initials and the P.W could also stand for “prison Warden” and we recorded what we saw since we were so close to the toys. Or the notebook isn’t ours
Sawyer might of gone through with his promise and actually gotten the warden out safely, which would explain why we survived the HOJ
Sawyer said that there’s no way a vague letter would make us come back. We came back maybe because we feel guilty that we have sawyer the omnihand and came back

 | Is it possible to install an overhead electric winch/hoist on my 380 x 100 PFC beam to handle an extra load of at least 500kg? What’s the best way to do this, and how can I attach the hoist to a trolley that runs along the beam, since I’ve only seen trolleys on I beams? I’m also open to having the hoist installed in a fixed location if that’s feasible. I plan to consult a structural engineer for inspection and approval, but I’d like to know if this is possible first. I have attached some plans/photos for your reference. So, SO much. Does anyone know any USA brands that have the same ingredient list, or extremely similar, as HYLO COMOD? I really am desperate.

I gave her another little gift today and the first thing she did was squeeze it and say ”hmm, it’s not something cross stitched.” I felt like that was enough hinting so when I got home I sat down and drafted a quick pattern (it didn’t turn out quite like I wanted it to but it’s at least her favourite colours so I hope she won’t mind) and voila! Because my wip is so much larger I got excited when I realized I could finish this one in one sitting, but now I’m so tired haha. Hi everyone! My partner and I are planning an 80-day trip to Japan (April–June 2025). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us, and we’d love your input on our itinerary. We’re architects/urban planners who love cities, art, hiking, nature, and food. We’re trying to balance exploration with relaxation and want to avoid feeling too rushed. I’d especially appreciate advice on days to add or remove based on our interests, flower blooms our trip lines up with (I know we are missing sakura but hoping to see some wisteria or azalea), unique experiences or festivals we might be missing, and tips for pacing. Here’s a breakdown of the highlights:
Yaeyama Islands (April 8–13)
- 5 nights in Ishigaki: beaches, diving certification, Iriomote National Park, and a day trip to Taketomi. Wish we had an extra day here but I cut one off to make more time later in the trip. Hoping 4 full days is enough to recover from jet lag and get a taste of island life.
Kyushu (April 14–22)
- Kagoshima (2 full days): Cherry blossoms at Sengan-en (if still blooming), hiking in Kirishima National Park (any trail recommendations?), OR sand baths at Ibusuki.
- Yakushima (3 full days): Hiking Shiratani Unsuikyo and Yakusugi Land trails with one rest day.
- Fukuoka (2 full days): Exploring the city, Yame tea culture, or Koishiwara pottery. Planning to stop at Kumamoto Castle en route from Kagoshima.
Southern Honshu (April 22–May 6)
- Hiroshima (2 full days): Peace Park and Miyajima Island day trip.
- Okayama (2 full days): Korakuen Garden and Naoshima art island day trip.
- Osaka (4 full days): Food, shopping, Himeji Castle day trip, cultural districts like Namba and Umeda, and Katsuoji Temple (I love Daruma!). Wish we had another day or 2 here.
- Kii Peninsula (5 full days): Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail (Koya-san, Hongu Taisha, Hayatama Taisha, Nachi Falls). This is the part of the trip I’m most excited about—I visited Koya-san 10 years ago and haven’t stopped thinking about it! Unfortunately, this falls during Golden Week.
Kyoto & Japanese Alps (May 7–23)
- Kyoto (9 full days): Temples, Arashiyama bamboo forest, Nara day trip, Kurama-Kibune hike, Kobe day trip, possible day back in Osaka if we missed anything, ending with the Aoi Matsuri Festival. Would love to hear from anyone who has attended!
- Japanese Alps (7 days): 2 full days in Matsumoto (Can't wait to see the Castle!); followed by Kamikochi hikes; Shirakawa-go village day trip; Takayama for a night, and 2 days in Kanazawa to see Kenrokuen Garden and Higashi Chaya District, plus do some ceramic shopping. Thinking about adding hikes in Norikura Highlands or Utsukushigahara Plateau.
** Tokyo & Surroundings (May 23–June 13)**
3 full weeks in Tokyo for “slow travel.” Exploring neighborhoods like Shimokitazawa and Yanaka while doing a couple of day trips each week:
- Day trips: Nikko temples, Fuji Shibazakura Festival, Kamakura/Enoshima, possibly the Izu Peninsula.
Question: Should I cut Tokyo time for northern Honshu stops? Any standout destinations here that align with my interests?
Hokkaido (June 14–24)
10 full days focused on national parks:
- Daisetsuzan National Park: Hiking Asahidake/Kurodake trails from Asahikawa or Sounkyo Onsen.
- Shikotsu-Toya National Park: Mount Yotei hike and Noboribetsu Hell Valley.
- Shiretoko National Park: Five Lakes trail and Kamuiwakka Hot Falls near Utoro.
- Akan-Mashu National Park: Mount Meakan hike and Lake Mashu viewpoints.
- Furano: Lavender blooms as a final day trip before departing from Sapporo.
