Worked at 3 locations in my district for a few months & everything was consistent throughout the three as far as policies & following standards.
Took a break from work for a few months, now I'm back full time at a completely new location, licensed not corporate. To say the least... they're confusing me as far as standards. Seems either LOTS of practices have changed in the months I was gone or THEY just aren't following them...
- Do we dilute the peach juice with water in a pitcher now?
- Did we stop adding 1/2 hot water to chai lattes?
- Do we add vanilla syrup to hot chocolates?
- If a food item is double toasted do we toast it on 1x quantity twice, or press x2 quantity for that item?
- Do we fold over the food bags for mobile orders (not delivery) and seal with a sticker?
- Do we not charge for cream cheese by just not pressing the cream cheese button on the register...?
- Do we mark items unavailable at the register if we have sold out/there aren't any thawed? The SM said DON'T mark it unavailable unless there none of that item in the building, even if it's frozen food.
- Is it ok to pull TONS of mobile stickers and place them up on the machine, even though pulling stickers triggers the customer to be alerted their order is ready?

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to click on this. My partner experienced a sudden and severe headache last night and I’m worried. I scoured the internet, and her symptoms align more closely with ON than anything else I could find. My better judgment says that she’ll be fine until we can get her to a doctor, but I’d greatly appreciate any feedback from this community on whether folks with ON have experienced a similar situation.
Her (25F) symptoms:
Last night, she experienced an intense and sudden headache that peaked quickly and lasted roughly 30 minutes. She said the pain was an 8/10, confirmed today that it was the “worst headache of her life” — this made me anxious that it could’ve been a thunderclap headache, but the symptoms seemingly don’t match.
Started at the back of her head/around her neck; mentioned early on that the top of her head was affected; felt pressure/heavy tight feeling “everywhere” on/inside her head (on both sides, including behind eyes, etc); burning and/or shocking pain all over her head and behind her ears; sensitivity to light; brief nausea around the 20 minute mark for ~5ish minutes. Said she felt a bit confused, but only because she was going in and out of naps. She did NOT experience: vomiting, double vision, fever.
After 30-60 minutes of onset she started drifting in & out of sleep (not unusual, she typically naps when in pain). She’d report a slight drop in intensity each time she awoke, eventually it was down to a 3-4 and she slept through the night.
Question about if folks with ON have similar experiences are mainly about the following:
She felt fine when she woke up this morning, but a mild headache came on in the afternoon. She has been in and out of naps, reporting when she wakes up that her pain is either at a 1 or 2; she reported that she was sleeping fine, the pain would come when she wakes up.
She reported that her eyesight wasn’t directly affected in the moment, but she feels that her eyesight has been deteriorating over time. She has never had a headache like this before. Sha experiences mild headaches now and then, not enough to be called “frequent.” Told me today that she felt some weakness in her hands during the headache. Recently, she woke up and said her head feels a lot better, and has stayed awake.
Thank you very much to anyone who takes the time to read and reply. Sorry that it’s so long, and that I’m posting here even after spending so much time looking things up. I tend to be very concerned about the well-being of others (even more so for those closest to me), and this was scary to witness.
