2025.02.02 00:31 TheUltimateInNerdy What would you like to see covered in Legacy of Vader?
Two things I would like to see or be referenced:
1: The battle of Batuu, more specially I think it’d be interesting if they explained why Kylo has his mask before 9 (I know the real world reasons but it’d still be cool to have an in universe one)
2: Kylo hearing Palpatines message. Might be neat to have that be right at the end of the run. None of the canon media inbetween 8-9 has any build up reference to the Sith eternal or final order, so it’d be nice to have something do that.

I started juuling when I was 18 and am about to turn 26. I hit it immediately when I wake up in the morning and until my eyes slam shut. For the last 7-8 years it has been the only constant in my life. I’m otherwise an extremely active and healthy person. I’ve never felt it necessarily affect my health, which has allowed me to convince myself that it’s okay to continue doing it. However I’ve been experiencing odd medical symptoms that can’t be attributed to anything. I am going to attempt to quit the one thing I’ve that I have used day in and day out for almost a decade.
It’s also important to mention that I’m an extremely anxious person. The Juul is my crutch under any stressful or anxious situation. I’ve convinced myself it calms me down. I’m quite afraid of when I feel anxious when I quit. I feel like I’m going to go insane. I’ve had instances where it’s happened and I haven’t had my Juul and my heart starts pounding, I get sweaty, and feel like I’m going to pass out. My anxiety presents intense physical reactions which is what I’m most afraid of dealing with.
Now I know this may sound extremely dramatic to some, but I hope there are others out there who also share these feelings (specifically Juul users). I am about 24 hours into “quitting” and I’m already experiencing gnarly symptoms. Body shakes, brain fog, can’t focus my eyes, legs feel weak. I’m sure most of it is in my head. I am using ZYN for the first week or two to help. I can’t go cold turkey after ripping a pod a day for almost 8 years.
If anyone (specifically Juul users) have any advice, success stories, odd symptoms, etc that you’re willing to share I would love to hear it. Cheers.

2025.02.02 00:30 Thomas_Raccoon New tank has been cycling for only 3 weeks and parameters look good, is it normal?
 | I've set up my first planted tank ever 3 weeks ago, with a cleaned (but not fully scrapped) second hand filter, a large piece of wood, a probably previously used lava rock and adding some fish food in it. I'm also adding fertiliser from time to time. Plants have been growing very well and saw some creatures in the water this week (which I read as good sign), along with some very minor bits of green algae (which I already read as a good sign). I've just got my water test kit and it looks like the amonia and nitrite are where they should be, and there is just a tiny bit of nitrate. I'm planning to let it mature a bit longer, just to be sure, but it looks like the tank is ready for shrimps and that's gone much faster than I expected... 2025.02.02 00:30 niclovesphynxcats living with family vs going into debt
Did anyone else have this choice? If so, what did you choose and how has it turned out?
I'll be honest, I'm kind of miserable living with my family. I love them, but they're always making noise, I have no privacy, and they're also pretty strict.
I can't even stay behind in the library to study without them calling me multiple times to check in on me. I end up having to pack up and go home by like 1pm lol.
I have made no friends. Not been to a single party or social event. I have not had a sip of alcohol or smoked. I feel like a bit of a loser compared to everyone else but my parents would never let me do anything. I'm not even allowed to drive when it gets dark.
I wish I could go to college away from home but I could never afford it. My college is very cheap and not having to dorm saves so much money. So I'm kind of stuck between saving money or going into severe debt just to get "the college experience." Is it worth it?
