I was just going through couple of posts in this sub Reddit and suddenly realized one of the key reasons people put on weight especially in India is because of the amount of ghee/butteany fat into their dish. Regulating the fat pretty much helps the person big time with amount of calories intake.
In urban cities: Are there no startups where they cater protein packed food for office/family gatherings?
In Tier 2/3 cities: General consensus of atleast my parents and other family members is that they hog like crazy during functions.
Most of the elderly does communal walk in the evenings pretty religiously.
What do you think is stopping them to go workout instead of walking? Not saying walking is bad! But only walking doesnât help with increasing muscle mass.
Irony is most of my family members are diabetic.

Make me an offer if you like. I looked at the new prices and listed these at what I thought was fair.
Men's Medium Micro Puff. 9.3oz. Had this for a few years but it was only worn a few times. 90% of the jacket is in nearly new condition. The first time I wore it I got a 1/4" or so hole in the back of the right shoulder. It has been tenacious taped since then. When looking it over for the sale, I saw that there is a small (dime sized) spot of snagged/inconsistent fabric pattern on the top of both shoulders. No idea how it happened. Maybe a pack had crap on the straps? Dunno. It was hard to get pics of but I did my best. This charcoal color isn't available anymore. These are $329 new right now. $175 shipped.
Men's Montbell Down Pants. I got these for a winter trip 5 or so years ago and never wore them. I got them used, but I don't remember where from. Likely here. They have hung on a hanger in my closet since I got them. They went on a trip or two but never left my pack. Other than the tags looking worn, these look and feel basically new. These are on closeout on Montbell website for $175. $100 shipped.
I haven't sold on here for a few years so I'm sure it'll say I have zero history, which is fine. You can look at my post history and see that I'm not new.

Iâm forced to be overly political and Iâm feeling like Iâm good at noticing things. And I hope Iâm overthinkingâŠhowever knowing trumps ultimate plan and seeing red flags all over this feels like a set up.
Reasons: 1. The only place online you can see about the protest is on Reddit and TikTok. 2. Centralized location based on each individual state happening all at the same time based on zip code of the state youâre in. 3. The start times of all the protests are all at the same exact time. 4. There isnât an organization really mainly involved or In charge of it and itâs basically an umbrella with each state having their own art workâŠwhich means no website to validate the organization that isnt a subreddit. 5. Seen multiple online photo posts on TikTok with piles of bricks thru city centers involved. 6. My comments on their videos on TT are basically ignored when I bring up this feels suspicious.
This feels like a massive set up. I know no one is inciting violence just the timing, that theyâre all in the same location at each state.
I just want to quiet my brain so if I am over reacting about this please let me know.

Feel free to remove if this isnât a good spot, but this seemed better than the travel sub!
Iâve been wanting to go on a long weekend trip and just shoot a lot of MF photos on my 6x7. Take my time and enjoy the process. I usually enjoy landscapes, but most spots are far west Texas and would be 7 or more hours away. Iâve also considered New Orleans, which could be a unique spot as well.
Does anyone have some recommendations for some nice photography locations within around six hours of the DFW area? Oklahoma has some good spots possibly, but thereâs not much info to know if itâs really worth the drive!
Appreciate any insight!

Hi, I'm new. Canadian here.
Within a month, Canada will be hit with debilitating tariffs as the Trump regime seeks to undermine our economic stability and sovereignty.
I would like to discuss how Canadians can prep to make sure we have a solid supply of necessary items, including toiletries and medicine.
And - I apologise, American friends - but we're going to need to be more aggressive about buying Canadian to get us through this. Has anyone been compiling a list of Canadian companies which provide necessities? Any resources to share?
I'm new to prepping in general. So far, this is what I have been collecting:
2 months of toiletries: Hand soap Bar soap Period supplies Shampoo & conditioner Toothpaste Face moisturiser Prescription medications (sadly I can only get 2 months' worth at a time)
2 months of kitchen and other supplies: Dish soap Garbage bags + recycle bags Dishwasher pods Laundry soap
I have yet to stock up on: Toilet paper Tissues Paper towels My dog's medicine (I have 5 wks worth right now) Dog food
And, of course, I haven't stocked up on non-perishable food items yet. But I'll make a list and work on collecting that, too.
Any other Canadians willing to share strategies and resources? I'm really worried about this.

I am so tired idec anymore man. I've done everything to avoid this. Only one who masks in this house too. My moms had it 3 times already. I think this might be my 2nd or 3rd infection (unknown bc I had bronchitis but it mightve been covid but ill never know). Now my dad is sick, hes over 65, Im worried. I have a bottle of metformin but he cant take it bc he has stomach problems - past ulcers. Gave him my CPC wash & Xlear spray. Have had the HEPA running in the living room but what good does it do fr if no one masks.
Anyway, woke up from a nap earlier. Sore throat. :/ What should I do else? Thankfully I work a desk job & I know u have to radically rest to avoid LC but :/ he works as a line cook and wont take days off (stubborn old man syndrome lol đ”âđ«đ)
Currently Im waiting for my sister to come home she has all these flu/covid swabs from work (she is a pediatrician medical assistant) to confirm if its covid.
These are what Im doing for the next few days pls let me know if I should add anything:
- resting. No brain games. Just comfort movies. Wondering if i should cut reading and drawing out
- drinking black tea
- CPC & xlear since i cant find betadine (whats up w that??)
- humidifier on
- possible PCR test
- POSSIBLE metformin. Will wait until i have a confirmed test.
