Ive thought alot about what it really means to be borderline, and you can take what i say and not feel the same way , and thats fine because thats how YOU think, but to me… Borderline is to be able to be in between both states and its a blessing ive come to realize . We just dont know WHY we are in between both , but it meanswe can understand things from many standpoints. and that to me is “empathy,” and that is literally a gift if u think about it . Ive done alotve self reflecting and come to realize these things . borderline is just labeled as a “disorder” because we’re different right . but we’re only different because we can truly feel everything , we jus dont know why . so when u do truly self reflect and find out why u do the things that you do . it really does bring you to a different understanding things in my eyes . to be borderline is great truly . and i feel like you should understand that. Not because I said it, just really only if u truly understand that.
and that doesnt make us "different" i didn’t mean that word like that. That makes us "different" from the social norm. we are literally just who we are. and that is to be free to me

Hey everyone!
I've been rewatching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with my mom using what I believe is the most recent Blu-ray release. But there’s a problem... The subtitles kinda suck.
When I first watched JoJo, I’ll admit I used... less-than-official methods. But THOSE subtitles were a direct translation of the Japanese script. The Netflix version and these Blu-rays, however, seem to use the English dub script instead, which changes a lot of dialogue in ways that, in my opinion, take away from the original feel of the show.
I really want to own an official Blu-ray (or DVD) that has accurate English subtitles. Ones that translate the Japanese dialogue properly, rather than just copying the dub script. If DIO isn't shouting "ROAD ROLLER!" in the Part 3 finale, or if Jotaro is saying “freakin’” instead of something more fitting, I don’t want it.
No shade to anyone who enjoys the dub, it’s just not what I’m looking for. I’m currently on Part 4, and even in the first couple of episodes, the differences are noticeable enough that they’re pulling me out of the experience.
So, does anyone know if an official release with proper subtitles exists? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

2025.02.02 00:30 Lukeract How to understand how to solve Algebra equations more intuitively?
I've just started College Math in my freshman year, I'm doing a class called MAT-035: Concepts Of Algebra and I'm having a bit of trouble.
I'm learning, but not fast enough to keep up with the course. It's an 8-week course that is done on the computer while you are in class with a teacher walking around tudoring people. The website is called hawkeslearning and it's pretty barebones when it comes to teaching imo.
I don't really have an intutive grasp on how I'm supposed to solve algebra equations, especially because I did not do high school and just recently got my HiSET equivalent.
The important details of how to solve some of these equations were not explained to me, and took me too long to figure out. For instance: The solution was explained, but not that the whole idea of these particular problems was moving the variables to the left and the constants to the right by doing the opposite operation on terms to get 0.
I also have had trouble understanding what terms I'm supposed to start adding/subtracting on both sides from first and in what order.
Nothing has been explained to me to help me intuitively understand how to solve the questions. I'm able to comprehend the material, but not understand the "why" of the solutions.
Is there any rescources I could use for this? Or any advice?

Tldr: My current GI Bill percentage is 70%, based on how my active duty time is calculated it can only be 60% or 80%, the VA got something wrong and I would like to know if it is in my favor or their favor. Thank you!
Hey, I'm having some issues with the VA and I cannot find any clarifying information online, from the VA website, or on Reddit so I've broken down and created an account to ask this.
I joined as a Navy Reservist, my first DD214 has my basic and A school time on it with a total of 7 months and 9 days (According to DD214 block 12 C). I took an IA deployment a few years ago that lasted 16 months and 21 days (1 year, 4 months, 12 days according to DD214 block 12 C) and got a second DD214. By my calculations I am at 24 months and 7 days exactly. Which means I should be getting 80% of the GI Bill, but I am getting 70%, my questions are as follows;
1: I know basic/"A" school training does not count until I hit 24 months, do they use my Basic/"A" School time, (7 months, 9 days) to help me reach that total? Or can I only count it after I hit 24 months of IA/mobilizations.
2: If the Basic/"A" School time do not count, then how am I getting 70%? My last DD214 (Title 10, 12301(d) orders) is only 16 months and 20 days which should mean I get 60% of the GI Bill by that calculation.
3: How can I go about fixing this?
I know the VA is wrong in some way, either I should be at 60% GI Bill or 80% GI Bill. For either calculation I cannot land on 70% unless I am missing something about how this works (likely). I want to know before I address this with them if it will end with me paying back 10% or getting an additional 10%. because money is tight and I'd want some time to prepare before I bring this up. Since its the weekend I have not had a chance to call my schools veteran services and ask them or the VA directly. I will visit my schools veterans office on Monday.
I'd appreciate any information you guys have, any instruction/websites you can cite with your answer would be extremely helpful, not because I don't trust you guys, but I want to be able to reference it in my appeal/correction I send to the VA when shit inevitably hits the fan.
BONUS QUESTION: I have been in school for 3 years at 70% tuition and 70% housing, if they find an error in my favor and move me up to 80%, what are the chances of getting back pay for that 10% tuition and housing over the last 3 years? I know if I owe them 10% they are gonna get it back for sure.
