another person looking for other people to talk to on these types of subreddit I dont ask for much but just engage with the conversation pretty much, im the typical person I like to workout, watch tv/anime, hang out with my friends and listen to music feel free to recommend me some songs I love to share playlists. I dont have a lot of time to play video games anymore because of school and work but I like to play roblox and fortnite im too old to try in any games. I feel like I'm missing out on smth about being a teenage girl. I feel like I look at other girls my age and the first thought I have is 'why can't I look like them?'
I'm not trying to sound like a pick me, Its just like genuinely upsetting. Guys don't like me, I have no friends, and It feels like there's some big secret on how to be a teenage girl that I'm missing out on. I do my makeup, I do my hair, I dress cute, but I see other girls my age with like 60 boyfriends and it makes me feel like shit.
something that makes it even worse- my 'best friend' is gorgeous. like stunning. she's got beautiful hair and such pretty eyes and she's just perfect.it's almost draining to look at her. We'll be having a sleepover and she'll be like 'damn, I'm ugly' when we both know DAMN WELL she's much prettier than me.

 | I received a 32 Oz FreeSip as a Christmas gift in the Denim color way, but is has some peculiarities that are making me question if it's a counterfeit. The first weird thing is that the lid is really delayed when you open it, sometimes it takes a second to pop up after hitting the button, it's noticeably slow compared to other FreeSips that I've seen from my family. Second, the plastic on the handle is starting to discolor around the round nubs that lock it into place, I will post photos of this discoloration. Third, I bought an official bottle boot, and it does not fully cover the Owala logo on the bottle. Finally, my brother also has a FreeSip in the same size and colorway, and his says "V23" on the bottom whereas mine says "V1". Westbound on hwy in Camas, there is a van or truck on fire. Firetrucks on their way about 4 minutes ago. It looked like a giant campfire. I’m pretty sure several pulled over to call 911 after passing it from what I could see heading east. Please take alternate route, most likely hwy will be closed in a few minutes.

I love shark tank, but for some reason those water bottle charms were my last straw. I’m fed up with the show self admittedly perpetuating a culture of overconsumption of non-functional plastic crap like this. I know this is the reality of investing - $s are what matter, and it’s not exactly a mission-driven industry, but it’s become kind of depressing to watch.
I think mark, David, and Robert sometimes at least pretend to stick to some sort of principles/values if only to keep viewership up, but I think it would be really cool to see a version of this show with impact analyses, etc. Anyone else think that kind of show would do well?
