They issued us a refund check ~10 days ago. Our mortgage company was starting to ask where it was so I called up the insurance company.
They sent the check to my old address…
I shit you not they told me “That was the address we had on file”
If any company in the world should have my correct home address you would think it would be my home insurance right?
(We had this company in our old home back in 2018 I guess they saved the address in their system)

I have this friend (Chris) who doesn’t really hang out with a lot of people. They’re introverted and have mentioned feeling lonely sometimes, so I’ve tried to go out of my way to make plans with them.
But he will literally almost always cancel last minute. Like, I’ll clear my schedule, make reservations, or plan something I know he'd enjoy, and then he'll text me a few hours before saying he's 'not feeling up to it.' Which I get but its so.. and he's always super apologetic, but it’s becoming a pattern.
It’s frustrating because I genuinely want to spend time with him, and I feel like I’m putting in all this effort while he isn't meeting me halfway. At the same time, I get that he might just be going through something, so I don’t want to push too hard or make him feel bad. But it’s starting to feel one-sided, and I don’t know if I should say something or just let it go.
Am I overreacting for being upset about this? Should I just accept that this is how he is??

I was wondering if there was a way to recover my formatted data in its original structure?
The folk over there really did their best to help me out and it seemed as if I could recover my stuff albeit in raw form.
I assumed that means they come structure less but then I wouldnt know which file belongs where. I have come to realise that it will be an absolute nightmare sorting 6tb worth of stuff, infact impossible.
Most of these I can love without but like I said I wont know how to seek out the important files among the heaps of non important ones.
I am using DMDE and after 28 hour long fullscan i got the results and i made sure to save the scan list.
I also bought another 8tb hdd to safely transfer my recovered files. I was just wondering what course of action I should take next? Any help and advice is appreciated!

Hello there, I had found out the movie looking up the most nonsensical movie ever made. I remember watch mojo had mentioned the film. I was able to get a copy from local library and I watched it last night. I really like the movie but the animal cruelty, child nudity, and over sexualization on both sides has made me questioning my liking of the movie. The robot vagina part really impressed me and then the sudden wholesome ending of that scene I liked. The movie is like tonal shift every couple of minutes. The twist ending and sudden fourth wall break I had feeling was coming, but I really liked it.
