 | This is the Maybelline Lifter Plump lip gloss in "Cocoa Zing". Opened it for the first time in a while and saw that the applicator is a darkish blue... I could've sworn it was not initially this colour so I'm a little concerned? Is this the case with anyone else's? Is it bc of some kind of chemical reaction? 2025.02.02 02:50 NewShadowR Confused why new displayport cable won't work
I bought a new displayport 1.4 cable to replace an old one because the case has slight cracks from moving damage. However, the new one just doesn't really work properly. It shows the start up just fine, but the second the pc gets to the unlock screen, it goes black and never shows anything. I plugged in my old one and it immediately works. Both are supposedly dp1.4.
Could it be that the new cables I bought are somehow just garbage even though spec wise they are the same? I don't get what's causing this black screen.

I have a Westinghouse Roku TV for about 2 years now and it's been perfect until recently. A crackling noise can be heard during specific sounds, music, or even people talking in movies or games. Specifically very noticeable on the Playstation 5 main menu. Almost sounds like a humming but distorted. It is very noticeable and I have never had my speakers volume higher then 9 and it goes 100. Can anyone give me an idea of what is happening? This crackling/humming sound is also always there. Wether I am watching a movie, playing a game or YouTube videos it is always there but only on the right speaker.

I have a few bottles of opened resin that expired 3 years ago that hasn't been shaken since I bought them. I know some say you can still use them but the pigments are completely stuck at the bottom and no amount of shaking worked. I'm pouring out a milky semi-clear liquid with little to no pigment. I have no way to dispose of dangerous chemicals in my country and I don't want to risk the workers or the environment by just dumping the bottles in regular trash as they're all opened/slightly used.
Anyone got any ideas on how to cure about 3-4kg of resin?
PS. I live in an apartment so I don't have a yard to just leave it out. I do have an exhaust fan and 2 air purifiers at my work area, a small wash-and-cure, and a handheld UV lamp roughly the size of a nintendo switch screen.

Question for ya...
I recently purchased a pac man deluxe screen, PCB and encoder board to update my old PM cab (screen died).
I was surprised to learn that the PM Deluxe uses a momentary power switch. I went ahead and ordered one from Showtime Gaming but I got to thinking would it be possible to to just insert the two pin wire from the non-momentary switch into the three pin? Am I crazy or would that work? Asking before I try it cause I don't want to cause any damage.

My partner knows I’ve been sick for a long time and I thought he’d at least be on my side. I think me not getting better is just getting to be too much for the both of us. I wish I could get some support but I just kept being told I need to try harder. I don’t know how much harder I can try. I keep trying new things, spend all my time and energy seeing different doctors and none of it works. Now that I am not a kid or teenager I’ve started to try and take my health into my own hands and do my own research and self advocate. But this rubs my partner the wrong way because he says I just need to listen to what doctors say because they know best. I tried to explain that I’ve always done what my doctors and parents want and so far I’ve found no relief. I need to try something new. My parents are no help either. They think I need to be more positive, learn to cope and meditate. Therefore, my parents and my partner all agree I am not trying hard enough. But I’ve already tried meditation and I am coping the best I can but there is only so much pain I can cope with.
I would really like an advocate right now or at least support. But anytime I try and discuss it with love ones it ends in a fight. Has anyone successfully changed the minds of their family so they understand and will support them?
