I'm going to start this by saying that there is a high chance it's a false positive, but I'm just making this post to keep the community safe and aware of what mods they download are doing/behaving like. Anyways, I downloaded a mod called "eternal starlight" which is a really cool mod for fabric/forge. I ran it through behaviour analysis tools like tip . Neiki . Dev, hybrid analysis, and lastly virus total. All looked 100% clean with 0 suspicious behaviour indicators or virus heuristic detections. I played the mod without issues, but have since not played in a while, but I saw an update came out adding a few new items foliage texture updates, etc. I always check the mods I use for malware with a series of 2nd opinion scanners and my main one. Those of which I will not mention in case it really is malware as to not alert the dev if he really is a bad actor to not make it easy for him to mask it. Anyways I scanned it with my main av and the series of 2nd opinion Antivirus scanners and it came clean, including virus total, but I decided to extract the files into a folder like I do with everything because jar files can evade detection in jar form therefore it's better to extract to actually scan the mod, and a few files got a detection from one of the scanners I use. Every other one came clean which led me to think it's a false positive but after uploading the file to virus total it came up as clean, BUUUT it had an old community comment saying "possible virus" I will also note the 2nd opinion scanner that detected the files is not in the virus total engine but it is still rlly well known and widely used as a powerful malware removal tool for Cybersecurity experts but I won't name it for the reason mentioned earlier. Anyways I still thought it was a false positive but I decided to check the old version I ran and it had the same detected files. I wasn't however too worried until I checked the GitHub source code for the mod and downloaded the same file to compare, and what do you know, it comes clean... I uploaded it to virustotal and no comment abt 'possible virus' and it had a different hash meaning it is a completely different file which is weird to me because I checked 2 versions of the mod and they BOTH had the 'infected files' but yet magically the source code alternate version of the supposedly exact same file with the exact same name is a different clean one. Leads me to believe the dev for this mod has I'll intentions because that seems really odd and suspicious to me, and personally I am going to stop using and supporting the mod. Would love if someone more experienced in Cybersecurity can confirm or not wether it's actually malicious, but for the time being I'm going to stop using it. Safe modding everyone, and If this is truly malicious I hope I have saved some people Incase this is some type of timebomb virus that will activate in the future because I'm losing my trust after the malware found in past mods.

All my life I thought that I was bisexual. A few months ago I came across the term “compulsory heterosexuality” and I really did relate to it quite a lot. Ever since I’ve been wondering if my attraction to men as a whole was just my need to be wanted by them. I don’t really have much experience with any gender because I was never truly comfortable having intimate relationships with men and also I am still in the closet for my own safety. I am waiting to leave my small town first, and then try to date a woman. Anyway, as the title says, ever since learning about comphet I have noticed that I am not at all interested in men even though I was before. Things that I previously thought were interesting about them now just seem laughable. My body has no reaction to the things about men it used to have before. At the same time my feelings and thoughts about women have gotten more intense. Can attraction or whatever feeling I had for men before just vanish so quickly? Has anyone else been through that?

So for context for the last two weeks I have been dealing with cutting off my narcissistic mother but other than that I have felt so calm and having no ROCD symptoms but now as I sent her a letter telling her the business and basically washing my hands of the whole thing I have noticed I have not been feeling well the last couple days. I’m assuming because I was finally able to let go of the stress I was feeling. But now my that my stomach has been hurting, I have been feeling tired, and I have been getting headaches for the last two days my ROCD is coming back and attacking my fiance once again. And I was taking NAC to help me with it and I had been taking it for a month but now it’s like oddly stopped helping. I have been taking other medicine since I’ve been sick so idk if that’s like messing with the nac or whatever. But has ahyone else’s OCD came back after they have ended a period of serious stress? Like now that my life has a lot more calm in it my body and ROCD is like freaking out now because I have nothing to worry about.
