Hi I’m a 20 male and have OCD and have since I was 12. It’s get more intense when my anxiety is up ect.
It mainly seem to effect me in the sense I have to redo things over and over again until it’s perfect or restart things no matter how many times till it’s done “perfect” as well. The best example is when I play games if I do something slightly off or in the wrong order or just not the “correct way” I have to restart. I do it with cleaning things are other similar activities but it’s really starting to take toll as I just wanna be able to sit and play my game and not be bothered or tidy my room and just get it done in a hour but I’m not sure what sort of things I can do to help with it and hope someone has some tips to help me coz it’s driving me crazy

I called Spectrum and told the rep that Google Fiber has moved into my neighborhood and I wanted to know what could be done to keep me as a customer. I was offered 1GIG Internet for $60 which I took, but now looking at it I probably should have asked for more options. I asked what the rate will be after the promotion ends, the rep tells me it will be $10 more which conveniently matches GF. I then asked if my area has symmetrical speeds and the rep put me on hold and took a while to come back and tell me that my area does have it. So I said, good let’s do it.
Somewhere in the process she came back and said the order that she submitted was flagged and she needed some time to figure out what the issue was. She later came back and said that I needed a new modem that is compatible with the higher speeds. I said ok, send me that.
The modem came and when I started comparing it to the old one, I noticed it was the exact same model number. So I called Spectrum again asking what the deal was here, this rep claimed that even though the model numbers are the same the internals can still be different. I said ok…but of course did not really buy that explanation…whatever. This second rep was confused about why I needed to be sent a new modem because the old one is 2.5GIG compatible just like the new one. AND he told me that 1GIG symmetrical is not available in my area. And my plan is only provisioned for 1GIG down and 35mbps up. I went round and round with this rep and he would not help me get what I was promised and I finally just accepted it because now I have a different choice, that being GF. I also ran speed test after speed test and got very bad speeds…100-300mbps down and 20-30 up. And when I log into my account it says that I am still on the 400mbps plan…so…WTF Spectrum!
I also received a summary of the plan changes via email. It says that 1GIG Internet is $100/month but it has a 12 month -$40/month promotional discount for 12 months attached to it. Again…WTF…thats a $40 increase after the promotion ends not $10!!! I have no symmetrical speeds as originally promised and I am basically in the same place as before with no difference. I feel that I was just shrugged off by the first rep wanting to get me off of the line to avoid having a service termination attached to that person’s name.
This whole experience has now left me pissed and I will probably finally actually leave Spectrum over this.

Parece que varios juegos, como risk of rain 2, hotline miiami, etc tienen problemas a la hora de detectar el click derecho, en los menús parece ir bien pero a la hora de disparar, por ejemplo, es como que reconoce 1 de cada 5 clicks. pero para todo lo demás el mouse anda perfecto. ya probé con G-hub cerrado y abierto, y el problema persiste.

2025.02.02 02:55 Hyjak She ghosted me after 2 years and wouldn't even tell me what went wrong.
I loved her more then anyone or anything I ever had before. If she wanted to leave I wouldn't have stopped her but to just cut me off with no explanation hurts so much more. When we together I would told her my greatest fear is someone I love just disappearing without a word. This seems to be a common theme of my life. She did this to me in September. Whatever she told all my friends seems to have convinced them to ghost me too. My only guess as to why she did this was me admitting to her a week before she dumped me that I was feeling suicidal after having a panic attack at work. If begging for help justifies her doing this too me then I guess I'm guilty. I was lucky enough to get myself some professional help so I do not feel this way any more. If anything I hope my continued existence is a daily thorn in her side at the very least. We had spoken of moving in together, marriage a future together. I don't date or even go out very much. I have convinced myself that no one likes me so whats the point. I felt like I had finally found a life long friend. Someone I could finally be myself with. Maybe its my lack of relationship experience, I don't know. All I can do to move forward is to focus on myself. When I started feeling better I switched from therapy to working out. Even though I feel like the fattest person at the gym I don't care. Fear has taken so much from me, I have to change. My therapist told me loneliness is the same amount of stress as smoking 15 packs of cigarettes a day. No clue if that's true but if it is I'm sure to die any day now. It feels like its life or death for me to find someone who can accept me for who I am. I don't know why I keep trying any more. "Hope is something we give our self" is something I believe. So the only hope I have is to spend every day being a bit more brave. Don't shut myself in. Even if I fail a million more times I will keep going. Continue to improve day by day. I know I am a good person, I am kind, carrying and dedicated. If she was too dumb to see that, that is her fail. Anyone who read this far, thank you.
