Hello all, first post here. I have a (literal) server and thought it would be fun to host. I have seen some servers where bots are automatically added. When you search for servers, the quantity of bots is shown in parentheses so I know this is supported at some level.
STK is installed in Linux and the server is working fine. It shows up for everyone, globally. I edited the configuration XML to allow AI and all, near the end of the file. From what I can understand, this doesn't add AI bots but it allows them. You need to then add them separately.
The best documentation I can find is here and here. Both are from several years ago.
From the first link, I open a 2nd terminal and run:
supertuxkart --connect-now=127.0.0.1:2759 --network-ai=6 --server-password=(password) No AI bots appear on the server right away. I went to dinner and forgot about it, came back 3 hours later and the 6 AI bots in there. But they didn't show up in parenthesis, it just shows up like there are 6 real users on the server. When I joined it was just Bot, Bot 1, Bot 2, etc. on there. I tried to play a race but it was just me, no AI was there.
When I closed that terminal window, all the bots left. So I know that this command worked somewhat. They were coming from my system and not someone else introducing them. So what is the best practice to achieve this? I know it's possible.... it just seems like there is not good documentation except some inconclusive forum posts. Thanks for any help.

In the hospital with divirticulitis infection. Don’t know how long I’ll be here since my heart rate is high and they were concerned about some things. I’m allergic to penicillin so they’re giving me antibiotics according.
So far they’ve given levofloxacin, flagyl, and Meropenem. Has anyone gotten these antibiotics? And how did you do on them?
After finishing the levofloxacin my legs started feeling like they were going numb. I’m concerned so I had them call the doctor. Currently waiting on that.
