I have been reading WaPo on Safari (my husband's subscription; he doesn't want to cancel) for a couple of years. All of a sudden, I can't log in on Safari. Username/password combo not recognized. But with the exact same username/password, I can log in on Chrome, which I despise as a browser. Interesting that when I do the crossword on Chrome, suddenly there are ads! There were no ads on Safari ... not that I'm a conspiracy theorist or anything ...
Anyone else have a Safari issue, or just me? Thanks.

I’m keeping this vague to protect both myself and the organization, but a couple of months ago, I discovered a major vulnerability in my company’s mission-critical internal systems. I promptly reported it through the proper channels and was thanked for bringing it to their attention. They assured me it would be addressed.
That was the last I heard - until I followed up about a month later, only to be told they weren’t going to fix it because it was “too expensive.”
I understand that, technically, what happens next isn’t my responsibility, but this is a serious issue that could cost the company a lot of money and cause significant backlash. I’m frustrated that they’re choosing to ignore it.
What’s my best course of action here? Should I just let it go, or is there something else I can do?

Hello! I love love love the concept of dreadful plushies and having representation for disorders and more in a comforting plushie format but I really dislike dreadful plushies as a company because of past controversies. Can anyone link me to any shops that have a similar idea to them? I have ASD, ADHD, and a few other disorders I've been diagnosed with and it'd be great to find a plush I could find comfort in that doesn't seem super stereotyped like dreadful plushies and doesn't have a questionable company tied to them.

I’m just gonna start this off by saying that I’ve spent the last year doing an insane amount of work on myself to be a better person. Got sober a year ago, did a deep dive into myself and not only rediscovered who I am, but unlearned a lot of things I didn’t want to be.
I’ve been so very happy and stable. Id dare to say more than I’ve ever been. While my entire life I’ve had issues with chasing unavailable men, I’ve spent the last year taking care of myself and chasing the person I want to be instead. In the past it’s been a habit of mine to fall into limerence with men I can’t have and my brain will straight up torture me by thinking about him nonstop and daydreaming and just generally making my days hell. I thought I had gotten over the cycle of limerence as I hadn’t even been slightly interested in anyone for over a year.
Until now 😕 I’ve caught myself thinking about my manager a lot. We were just joking around and laughing for a bit and that’s literally all it took for me to look at him different I guess? Now I get very nervous whenever he is around, think about him more than I should and daydream. I try to distract myself. I throw myself into the work, my metrics are still looking really good. In particularly obsessive moments I snap myself on the arm with my hair tie.
I just feel so disappointed in myself for regressing back into my old patterns. Clearly I’m not going to try to do anything as I don’t want either of us to lose our jobs.
I guess I’m just here to ask. Has anyone else been through this? Is there anything I can do to snap myself out of it? I don’t want to undo all of the progress I’ve made in the past year because of one stupid crush 😢 I hate feeling like I’m slipping back into the toxic patterns I used to have

Google says full sythentic should last at least 5000 if not 7500 miles. Yet every oil place I go to (Ive gone to like 3 different ones) always puts a sticker for just 3000 miles later to get another oil change. Also my car has an oil life % thing and at 3000 miles its only like 70% life and google says you're supposed to change it when it gets to like 20 or 30% oil life. So the car seems to think its like 5000-7500 miles. Also even when I bring it in at 3000 miles they always say the oil looks dark and ask me if I want to flush it (which i did the first time). So are they all just scammers or what?
