Hello! Next Thursday is my 21st birthday, and I want to drink/not worry about calories. However, today was my little sister’s birthday and I splurged on cake + dinner. Too much. Wayyy too much. I’ve only been on my deficit for a week and a half. 😭 So I haven’t lost any weight except for maybe a pound lol. That pound and more will likely be gained if I let loose on my birthday. That being the case, I’m thinking why even continue with the calorie deficit if I’m going to have to restart after my birthday? Am I being stupid😣

Hello,
I am printing light masks on transparency sheets using a laser printer. When viewing the prints under a microscope, I see some jagged lines and also smooth lines. I want to eliminate the jagged lines since it limits my accuracy as I print smaller items.
Some clues:
- 2 photo shows a printing line offset by 1 pixel that prints smoothly (in the design these were on the same line). Maybe this means there is a certain border grid that the image must be precisely aligned to.

Hey, I'm currently going into year 13 this year in New Zealand and looking to go to an Australian uni next year. I would say I am an average student gaining 49 excellent credits, 55 merit credits, and 5 achieved credits in level 2. I know Australia uni looks at level 3 but based on my level 2 results would you think I have a good chance of going to an Australian uni? Also at the moment, I am not taking level 3 English, and from the research I've done English is pretty important I just want to know if I can still get into Australia uni without English.

i was under the impression (wrongly assumed) that when the whole “Layered Recording” feature of Voice Memos was announced & previewed in the last keynote that you can add an instrumental to the track on one layer & then lay your vocals over it on a separate layer. that would make the most sense, but of course that’s not the case. all these years later & we still can’t just do something this basic in Voice Memos.
they only allow you to “record” on separate layers. in other words record an instrumental or live music playing & then record yourself over it. that is a stupid decision. hopefully one day (maybe in iOS 25) we can get something this as a much needed feature. this why i always prefer an iPhone with a jailbreak. i can do without all these silly limitations.

I'm starting in sem 2 and was wondering if anybody here managed to get a grad role (either on a sponsored visa/graduate visa) specifically in banking/finance/consulting? I know what all I need to do at uni to make myself more employable, but how did you get past the visa requirements, etc? Should I apply to jobs that specifically state "For citizens/PR's" with hopes that they think I'm good enough or is that a waste of time.
I know its a bit early for me to worry about all of this but the economy's only getting worse and with the way the current political landscape is I don't feel like I can be prepared enough.

Me personally, when someone is talking at me, my eye contact is way too intense. I’m still not quite grasping everything you’re saying because I’m still forever trying to establish the “right” amount of time before I’m supposed to look away. Once I’m aware I’ve been staring too intensely you’ve lost my attention for the time being as I’m trying to get my system to run smoothly again 😂.
When I’m the one whose speaking I don’t ever want to look at you let alone look you in the eye. I get lost mid sentence when I remember “I should make eye contact for a second because I’m being rude or they’ll say something about it” but as soon as I do I lose my train of thought.
Just wanted to see if any others had some kind of method or way that makes them the least uncomfortable when making eye contact.
